I know it's in our best interests for the SEC to perform well. Up until this point, I've cheered for that to happen (not that my silent hopes make any difference).
But I also have to admit...now that South Carolina has made it this far, I would rather they NOT win the whole thing (unless it comes down to them and UNC-CHeat - the worst of the blue bloods).
I'd rather have Gonzaga or Oregon win. South Carolina just doesn't seem legitimate enough to me, for one thing, and it would be pretty annoying to go to Columbia and face...the defending champions? Weird. Florida is bad enough to deal with. Imagine a national champion version of the Gamecocks.
Does anyone else share this opinion? Being a deranged fan gets complicated. And tiring.
