Now that I think about it, I'm glad we didn't get any of those kids who would be dumb enough to pick anyone but us.

This is an amazing get for UK. I apologize for my pessimism but the Oregon kid's tweet, everyone predicting him going to Oregon, even the dumb guy in the crowd with an Oregon jacket (How's that ahole feel? LOL), etc, just seemed like status quo for the spring for UK bball. Then I remembered...summer started this past weekend.

If you told me at the beginning of May we could only have one more recruit, but I got to pick who it was, I would have picked Jamal Murray. We just got the most dynamic scorer in the class.

After the twitter stuff pointed to Diallo going to Kansas and he ultimately did, I thought for sure Murray was going to Oregon. I was one that always felt good about our chances with him until then, the 3 guard lineup just made sense to me even when it didn't to others, then the weekend twitter madness happened and it seemed all too familiar to every other recruitment we were in on this Spring.
But like UKWildcats#8 pointed out, it's Summer now. How about that?
I've been wrong a million times in my life and I'll be wrong again very soon I'm sure, but I don't know if I've ever been this relieved to be wrong before. I apologize to everyone for doubting, I was just in a "fool me twice, shame on me" mindset and refused to be let down this time around.
Just like Stella, we finally got our groove back. 3 ball handling guards that can shoot with 2 bigs can work extremely well and Cal is going to prove that, you just wait and see. Now I can breathe a sigh of relief and finally look forward to football season which is going to be awesome as well.

UK is going to be loaded yet again. Should be a top five team for sure. The only down side is that it is only June but it will be November before we know it.
