As if Lil Bro was going to beat Big Blue before today's commitment by Murray, this just sealed their annual beat gown even more. It is awfully quiet over on the UL Basketball Forum today. I for one cannot wait to put the 7th out of eight games as losses for Traitor Rick.

Oh yeah, another beat down for the filthy cards is coming their way!

It could get ugly at Rupp, and I don't even mean the game plan Rick will employ to try to keep it close.

Could be a good 15-20 point beating.

I haven't seen a monumental beatdown on UL at Rupp in a while. I'd bank on another single digit win as all of them have been single digit wins except for that glorious 78-63 ass kicking by Harrelson and company at UL in 2010/2011.

That said, UK was 100% beating UL before (which is all that matters) and this just adds to the margin.

They are dealing with this by saying over and over to themselves that 'no coach does less with more.' Kind of like they are in a trance.

You're gonna need a time machine for that. We're working on 8 out of 9 next year.

The anger over there on their board is hilarious. 'Cardiotonic' sounds like he's going to blow a gasket.

And come Feb when they go on a three game win streak they will be claiming to want another shot at us.

It was funny to read pitino say they'd have 7-8 NBA players next year. I'd bet a good amount that the vast majority of UL fans can't even name 7-8 players on their own team, for next season.

I tried to see if I could name 7 UofL players without looking them up. I got:
Quentin Snider, Donovan Mitchell, Mango Mathiang, (?) Onuaku, (?) Lee, Anas Muhammed (the Egyptian)..... then I was stumped.

Of that group only Mitchell, the #31 player in this class and a 6'2 shooting guard, might play in the NBA and that's only if he can play point guard.

I don't want to get "NBA obsessed" like UK fans. I don't think we have a lot of obvious NBA guys like UK/Duke/Kansas have many times with their OAD recruits. I see tools and potential to develop into NBA guys with several players.
SR
Lee - Has NBA size for a wing and can fill it up. I see him being a fringe guy who might just end up in Europe making good money. 22/23 year old guys don't tend to get scouts excited because the "upside" is perceived as tapped out mostly.
Lewis - Doesn't have the size or athleticism to wow scouts. I see him as having less of a chance than Lee, but also a fringe guy who could do well in Europe.
JR
Mathiang - Just doesn't have the natural feel and skill to ever sniff the NBA. Again, a guy who could make a living elsewhere playing for 10 years though.
SO
Onuaku - He has a lot of development still to go, but it's certainly possible he could develop into a rebounder/shot blocker strong inside body teams would want.
Johnson - I think he might be the best NBA prospect. I've always thought he had the same kind of abilities as E5 did.
Mahmoud - We've discussed his NBA potential a bunch. Long way off, but there are tools for sure.
Stockman - Repeat of what I said for Mahmoud.
Snider - Like I said with Lewis, lack of great size or athleticism will always limit his ceiling with scouts. I have no doubt he's going to be a great college player, but have doubts he ends up playing in the NBA. Future Euro star ala Taquan Dean.
FR
Spalding - Again, lot of development to go, but he might have more NBA tools than anybody on the roster.
Adel - The tools are there with this guy as well. He could be a nice, long, wing defender that, while not a prolific scorer, can play a nice supporting role in the NBA.
Mitchell - Needs to develop the J, and lacks ideal height, but the athelticism is off the charts and I'm quite sure he's a future pro.
McMahon - Steph Curry makes anything possible in time.

That chick is special. She opens new posts about UK nearly every day to talk about how obsessed UK fans are with their program. Irony is lost on a lot of blondes. Her's is probably died though.
