boley is going to be good for us. The problem is stoops won’t play him and we have another year of BVG and Hamdan.
Gotta think Wilcox and Brown will transfer sadly. Gilmore looks really promising just sad we are going to waste another year with some of these young guys because Stoops won’t make the changes he needs to.

Does he have good measurables? If so good on him
Run fast, jump high, a good wing span and have a 1/4 inch longer hand than average.

I actually think the plays called were MUCH better and only expected the OL to provide 2 seconds of protection. Why we don't run the same ones for BV is beyond my comprehension.
I mean you literally had that in 2018 and 2021 if there had been a 12 team playoff then. Wouldn't have made it either season but would have been in first 4 out both seasons probably.

What you are seeing is the difference in two QB's running the same offense.
Boley is quick on reading the defense and quick on the trigger.
BVG is slow to read and slower to react.
Our team plays so dumb. 1st and 25 and the DB commits PI on a 5-yard pass giving them an auto first down. That's poor coaching.
Talking about ability to read a defense and go through progressions. Very similar. Not in the other tangibles. Will is 10 times better than BVG.
And a roughing the passer to give them even more yardage. Geez, we just can't seem to get out of our own way.

I didn't expect much, but this game is horrendous to watch. 8 straight plays with a penalty? In a blowout? All I want is to see Boley have another series then I'm turning it off. Didn't realize it might be 45 minutes before our offense gets the ball back.
Stoops can’t be happy with what he’s seen in this game. From a team standpoint, too many lackadaisical tackles and way too many penalties. I think it’s a reflection on him and his staff.

I know we are up 34-6, but this has to be the worst played game of the season.

Boley is better, right now, and with actual upside. Brock just can't make the reads fast enough.
Looks like Boley hits his receivers in stride. Murray State is not SEC caliber opposition, but I like what I see in Boley. I hope he wins the starting bid next year.
I know it's just Murray State, but Cutter Boley looks like the real deal. The question is, does he want to play next year on a listless team with a sh!t-ass offensive coaching staff (which includes the HC)
The South Carlonia game was infintely worse. It was actually the worst played game of the Stoops era.
Should have stopped after the murray state part. Let's start him against Texas next week and revisit this.
