Two Cat commits move up in rankings:
another gets his 4th Star!!

This leaves us 20th in average recruit Star-ranking of 3.47, and 29th overall, being drug down by lack of numbers.

Meanwhile, at the Jefferson County Juggernaught, with 12 commits averaging 3.08, the Cards are ranked 65th total, and 45th in average recruit ranking, with Brohm again preparing to spin Gold from mere Flax!!

Yeah, based on the total number of commits and avg star value of both the Cats and those ranked near them, I would say they could conceivably move up to about 20th (or low 20s). The teams in the teens all have either a high avg star value, also have less than 20 commits, or are schools that traditionally grab high rated recruits (Oregon, Clemson, Texas, Mich, and Fl St are some of those schools).

Regardless, class at about 20th with a good variety/balance of positions should be strong enough to compete in any conference.

Yes, along with quality transfers.

And although a couple of our commits moved up in the rankings, we must be honest and say we normally do not get the “benefit of the doubt” that approximately 15 programs receive.

No, this is not a conspiracy theory: no one is “out” to get UK, but rather, it is a simple truth.

We and 110 other FBS schools are in about the same boat: A commitment to roughly 15 schools simply and automatically leads to a likelier “upward” re-evaluation. Some say that this is fair, given that those 15 schools typically dominate college football . . . , which can be partially contradicted by the fact Notre Dame is one of the 15 “Fair-Haired” programs.
