2007 UK defeated the #1 ranked and eventual national champion LSU Tigers.
Complete with Dicky Lyons MONSTER block that would draw a season's suspension under today's rules.

interesting thread,, I can't really answer the question but,, I know right up near the top and certainly one of the most memorable plays was 1965 Cats vs Ole Miss, UK ranked 6th in NCAA((I think), Larry Siple went for a TD on a fake punt on 4th and 30 something if my memory is right! The play can still be seen on utube.Cats won 16-7??I guess there are still a few here who remember the play?

The overall game and importance of knocking off a #1 team makes the LSU game #1, but when we beat UL after Stevie made that catch, well, that was just incredible. He ran that into my end zone so I had a awesome view of it.

The UT win in 2011 was important for a lot of UK fans, but it said more about Derek Dooley and how far Tennessee had fallen than it did about UK.

Gotta to agree with these, was at all of them...., plus add UT, 2011 - beating UT with a wide receiver at quarterback...just impossible to believe; and South Carolina 2010 finally beating the old ball coach.
