More UofL slime (Ramsey)

Oh they care, they just can't spin it, so they don't even talk about it. They know the conversation wouldn't end well.
They're also hoping it just goes away too. I know I would. The crime at that university keeps popping up, it's getting to be impossible to defend it.
Question is ... will anyone step up and do something about it. Our legislature should stop funding UL and file suit to recover this tax pay or money. The Jurichs need to go. Also stop funding to force them to renegotiate the Yum lease to make it equitable to the tax payers. Who steps in and makes it right? McConnell will probably try to kill any efforts and our legislators won't do anything. If this was UK their indignation would be epic. They would be demanding resignations.

How in the world can Jurich keep his job? It blows my mind, his son received like almost 800,000$ for a made up position.

Just think about this from another angle. So uofl has millions of dollars flying around apparently unbeknownst to anyone, or so they say, yet they stand up there with the arrogance and audacity and act completely befuddled and say they have NO idea who paid for the sex parties?!?! They go on to insinuate that they know everything that is going on and pay special attention to every little detail to make sure they have a program doing things the right way and with sportsmanship and class. GTFOH!!!!

I am appalled that the state legislature expects the rest of the state to bail out the YUM Center when the UofL CROOKS have robbed and swindled all of the endowment money from their own school!!!

I think it takes actually getting in trouble and being punished before schools learn and change their ways. We have been squeaky clean since the business in the late 80s. But all these schools whose fans constantly accuse us of being dirty have one scandal after another. UNCheat being the prime example.
Maybe the taxpayers need to initiate a class action suit against UL, Jurich, His son, Ramsey, and the UL foundation since our government clearly isn't going to bring them to heel, and UL will never actually police themselves...

About potential repercussions, yeah they would care about that.
Please don't fool yourself into believing that they have ANY standards when it comes to corruption, because I can assure you that they don't.
Maybe we know where McGee was getting his money for the hookers now. The foundation. I'd almost bet money on it.

I recall that at one point...Jurich's daughter or daughter-in-law ran the marketing dept for them as well. She was on one of the local TV morning cup of coffee shows, showing off the new line of LilBro spirit wear clothing at the YUM gift shop. Jurich has every member of his family on the payroll over there. It should be investigated for nepotism law violations.
And they went on the cheap on this service, at least get some good ones.
But i guess if you're a ul recruit you're not picky.
After living in this hell-hole for 12 years, I think I can safely say that a large chunk of that fan base couldn't care less about all the scandals and bad press as long as they can win in football and basketball and keep throwing up those stupid "L's". This will all make a hell of a 30-for-30 one day, assuming ESPN doesn't go under first.
Unfortunately I don't think he will be on. Bad timing on his part, or UL released the findings knowing he wouldn't be on air the next day (don't put it past them).

After seeing this report you could easily reach that conclusion. There's a LOT of money that went missing/or was spent without people knowing what it was spent on.
I have some UL friends that are disgusted beyond belief.
It seems whenever I see them there's a new issue to talk about.
It's crazy how many different things are getting uncovered at one university all at one time.
But they do care and here's why, this could cost them wins. It could cost them a title too (highly doubtful) and it looks like Pitino will be suspended for some games, which will ensure some losses that should have been wins.
Funny thing though, Zipp is the one always accusing UK fans of only caring about wins and titles. I guess if you're nowhere near the top in either of those categories it doesn't mean that much to you.

This right here is what needs to happen. Once this news hits the right people, my only hope is that they do something about it and the people I am referring to are the taxpayers that are passionate about it and have the ability to do something about it.
