Late update: If you scroll in this thread you'll find that my opinion has changed somewhat on the basis of conversations and dynamics that might have shifted. The question in the OP was whether he would attend other camps. I think he might, I'm not convinced he will now.

I know that some have said to watch out for something with Williams later on this week. I can't categorically rule out any possibility (because this is recruiting in 2017, so anything's possible and nothing's really surprising) but I would be very surprised if Kentucky landed his commitment (again) later this week, as has been mentioned. Williams is planning to attend camps at other schools. I don't know all the places he's going to go but it will likely be multiple camps and one or more of the schools that he has already visited and have verbally offered. He did not decommit rashly, he decommitted because he's going to camps, and that's still to plan to my knowledge.

Florida State has always been a mainstay in his recruitment and I saw where a couple of their coaches visited his school today. Would not be surprised at all if Florida State is one of the schools he plans to camp at. There's also the news that LSU will be visiting Central Gwinnett, so that on the heels of a trip to Baton Rouge could be a good sign that this is a camp he would be likely to take, too.

I've said all along I think Kentucky may have the best chance of getting him, even the second time around, but I've never said I thought the odds were above 50-percent, because there are a lot of schools in play and it's probably going to hinge on how camps go. There are other factors that are extremely difficult to weigh, like whether he would be okay being one of two quarterbacks in a given class, what he thinks about various depth charts (he hasn't really spoken to that).

In short, I think Kentucky has a solid shot but I'm tapping the brakes on all the buzz today, which I believe is quite a bit of tea leaf reading and in some respects inconsistent with Williams' own plan to attend other camps. He did not have a change of heart on attending other camps, it seems.

UPDATE: I'm told that all of the above "seems true" but Kentucky is going to push very hard for him in the short term either way. So there is some truth on both sides. Based on some information that's floated around, Williams still seems to want to attend other camps. But Kentucky is going to push for him to commit early.

I'm also told that Kentucky may have another quarterback coming in for a visit on Friday and that could be a consideration one way or another. UK wants to lock him down but I have no clue at this point whether he plans on doing that.
