Monk Officially Declares For NBA

no succeed no proceed

I thought that was the motto? We sure the fuk didn't succeed unless you count giving UNC, DUKE, and UCONN a few championships. We sure succeeded with that.

Keep it up and I guarantee you somebody will proceed their ass down the road.
Made it farther than all but 4 teams this year. That is succeeding. Beat out over 300 teams. Can't win every year. Smh. Guess you have been disappointed in about 107 years out of 115.

I'll never understand how some people don't grasp that getting tons of players into the league is what makes Cals pitch to the elite talent work so well. Maybe, just maybe thats why some of us fans enjoy "winning the draft" as the miserable crowd likes to say. For the record it's that miserable attitude that gets us no favors from the media, etc. They love to see our demise because a loud minority of our fanbase really is so unrealistic and whiny.

Did I mention anywhere in my post that I wasn't wishing them to succeed? I actually thanked them for the elite eight. Does that mean I have to be thrilled that we lost to UNC and they won the title? Are you happy about it? Are you happy that we are losing our entire team? Are you happy that we are likely going to be decent at best next year?
Decent at best? Not sure I agree. Cal will keep putting his team in a place to succeed. That's all we can ask.

No big deal -- cal's reloading with a new crop of superstars-- UK may be preseason #1!!

If everyone that's upset about this has any idea in regards to how we can land 5 star recruits so we don't get out talented (the Tubby problem) while also landing 4 star guys that are willing to sit on the bench for 2-3 years so we have some experience (the Cal problem), I'm sure Cal is willing to listen.

Huckleberry just showed us the way. Mix one or two 5 stars per year in the 15-25 range so they stick around for 2 or 3 years (One OAD is fine but you can't have 3-5 every year). Then mix in a bunch of good 4 star kids that stay through their Jr year. This gives you a good blend of talent and experienced good players. We will never win another Title using strictly freshmen. Too many variables to overcome.

somebody has got to say it. It's not peaches and cream for real.
