I understand being upset/sad when these guys announce. Never understood the "woohoo! Good luck! Another Cat in the league!!!" celebratory tone after we lose these guys.

Well wish them luck, we didn't get a Final 4 out of him, players first isn't holding up a good deal for us. But we did for them as always $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ top 10 draft pick again all in one year.

Can anyone honestly claim that their "basketball life" is going well today? Thanks for the Elite Eight, Monk and Fox.
30+ wins, SEC Regular Season and Tournament Champs, a last second shot away from the Final Four, and in Monk's case, a season of really exciting basketball to watch. If you want to be mad at someone, be mad at the NCAA for giving us terrible refs and a difficult bracket. But these kids don't owe you anything.
We are going to kiss Cal's players first rule and watch the ACC kings win another title next year.
Posts like this are embarrassing. These kids played their asses off and were great representatives for our university. If you aren't going to wish them long, prosperous careers then just STFU.
Did I mention anywhere in my post that I wasn't wishing them to succeed? I actually thanked them for the elite eight. Does that mean I have to be thrilled that we lost to UNC and they won the title? Are you happy about it? Are you happy that we are losing our entire team? Are you happy that we are likely going to be decent at best next year?

Why? I don't even know the poster but using context clues he/she's a 76ers fan. Is he/she not allowed to be excited about the possibility of Monk joining his/her's favorite NBA team?
