Monday Espn Game: UL at Duke. Who will you root for

If I pull for either it will be Duke. Yes, even them. The angle of UL winning out, but not being eligible to participate in the post season is kind of appealing. Their fan base is upset at the school enough already. That would take it to a whole other level.

I'm torn.

I literally never root for Louisville. On the other hand, how great would it be for them to go undefeated the rest of the way, be ranked #1 in the country, and be ineligible for the tourney?

They could hang them a "Helms" banner

I wish they both could lose but I do have a feeling UL will win tomorrow and it would be nice to see Duke go on a losing streak.

While I like the prospect of UL winning out and missing the tourney, I'm afraid that all this would do is give the UL faithful reason to flap their beaks that they would have won it all, they were the true champions, chirp, chirp, chirp, chirp......

I know it's heresy but now that they can't make the post-season, I would just as soon they win out, to make our win better, which would also mean that they beat Duke twice, and some other tourney teams that could help us get a higher seed.

Duke has a tough schedule coming in the next 4 games. The have Louisville at home Monday, Virginia at Duke next Saturday, then Duke at UNC on Wednesday, and Duke at UL the next Saturday. This is a tough four game stretch that Duke could lose 3 or 4 games in this span of 4 games. They also have UNC at end of ACC Season. Duke with the ACC Tourney will probably end up with 10 or more losses this year.

I think if ineligible player played, the games have to be forfeited that ineligible players played. (Say that 5 times) lol

I always want UofLsucksville to get beat in every game but now that they are banned I hope they beat everyone so their fandom pain gets dug deeper and deeper with every win knowing they can't play for the national championship.

It would be great that the only season they come in first in the oh so awesome ACC that they have the big * stateing not eligible for league championship next to their name.

Hearing Duke's schedule makes it easier to cheer for them tonight.

Initially I wanted Vitale calling the game but after Bilas made the statement that he did about Pitino I am glad he is doing it,I wan't to see him dance around the issue for 2 hours,I hope it is a blow out either way so they have to come up with filler material

Louisville. I don't care if they win out -- that only makes the pain of not going to the NCAA tournament worse, as they might have been a 2 seed.

Duke can still be damaged for this year. And even if they lose to a disqualified team it counts.

This. I hope Louisville wins every remaining game and is sitting in the top 10 thinking about "what if" as they sit out the tournament.

Hold on folks lets settle down and think about what program we are talking about. This is the University of Louisville one of the most rotten programs in America. A program and fan base that would send the University of Kentucky to the devil to rot in hell forever. How in the world could anyone who claims to be a UK fan support such a trashy program as this. They actually hire coaches with low life character and lie more than a politician. When this story broke they denied everything. Facts were mocked but now for some reason they acknowledge they did something wrong and actually pulled out of the tournament. When the story broke they even blamed UK for being behind the story. If our team, the UK Wildcats, has reached a point we have to pull for UL to win out to make the NCAA tournament we are in sad shape. We have over 25 games to make a case to be in the NCAA? So I will lounge around my pool and catch up on my swimming. UL is dead to me.
