VA is garbage. Ruined my parlay on Sat by going like 1-11 at the FT line. Needed a 3 pt win and they won by 2.
Plus I'm pretty sure they're in the 4-5 seed range right now, so we need them to lose this game.

Virginia being constantly bad offensively barring the year they won it all it bad. Their style play allows for any team to stay in the game

I think Iowa state is pretty overrated. They beat no one out of conference at all. All good wins are bolstered by big 12 being propped up as usual,
I would be scared to death to play Houston with these refs. This is Auburn at home level aggresion without any calls.
I read where Iowa State has more wins over ranked teams the last so many years or something the other day. It was on a graphic after a big win.

They don’t deserve to be in that range scoring 16 points a half.
I’ve said it all year. You can’t complain if Houston is your 1 seed. Their defense is good but they also haven’t played many elite offenses/offensive players. Quick look at their schedule, the offensive dudes they’ve went against:
Wade Taylor-A&M- 34 points
Abmas-UT- 20 points
Dickinson-KU-20
McCullar-KU-17
They did hold Abmas down good in Houston.
I don’t see enough talent on offense for consistent shot making so the defense will have to pull them through some games they don’t get out of the 60s. Against elite offenses I have my doubts.
This hasn’t been a ringing endorsement for ISU tonight obviously either.

Houston can't score enough to win on neutral floor in the tournament. If the game is called like it should be, they are sweet 16 at best.
Because the big 12 is always over rated. Iowa st is a decent team but I don't see them as the 6th team in the country

I guess they are legit but their offense is just not very good.
Houston Adjusted offense eff 119.3 (15th).
It's not bad either.
Sure they can't shoot for a lick but when you only turn it over 13.5% of the time (5th) and rebound 38.7% of those misses (6th) you get so many more shots compared to the opposition it doesn't matter.
We will see... They have been this same team for 7 seasons. Actually I believe they were a better version prior to this season. It's a different ballgame when u start getting called for handchecks and body to body contact on layups.
Looks like they have a couple. Both Houston and Iowa St are currently projected to finish ahead of KU. KU is projected to finish tied 3rd with Baylor and Texas Tech.
Yet KU is still a projected 2 seed.
