Model Update following Saturday’s garbage performance

Absolutely ridiculous loss. Allowing that team to go one on one over and over is kind of mind blowing. One of Cal’s worst performances as a coach. Easily.

People say that every time we lose, no matter who to.

It’s really early. They obviously played much better against us than they had been playing previously.

But even against us they had 8 assists to 12 turnovers. That isn’t usually the mark of a good basketball team.

They lost to Appalachian St. by 30. That’s probably dragging them down quite a bit.

Honestly whether they end up 300th or 120th, that’s an ugly loss. As a Kentucky fan, you’re kind of forced to hope they get on a roll now.

The difference being this team still scores 6th overall even with that terrible loss. Regardless if we dropped a turd Saturday, we still have a top team this season. Metrics are very accurate, as the season progresses we will be top 5 in all of them IMO. This isn’t the last 5 seasons, we have the firepower and talent to make a deep run. Now we just need to execute!
