Mitchell Robinson to return to WKU

If I was Stansbury I would tell the kid he knows he wants to play in the NBA, being a team player and towing the line for a year will improve his draft status and Stansbury will help him any way he can if he does the work, otherwise continuing to be a problem child is only going to hurt his draft status.

Thank God he went back. I want him to play ball for those Hilltoppers! A dominate center can go a long ways towards a tourney bid in that conference.

What is Rick Stansbury doing to make these 5-star recruits be interested in WKU? I mean Mitchell Robinson in the 2017 class. And now I'm hearing that 2019 5-star recruit Charles Bassey is considering WKU as well. When I see something like this, I can't help but ask. What's going on here? I mean something fishy is going on.

Can't say for sure, but my guess is he sells them something fairly obvious. Go to UK or KU or UNC and compete for playing time, maybe you don't do as well as you are supposed to, and you dont get drafted as high.

...or come to WKU, start, dominate competition, and be drafted high. Facilities are better than most . School is fairly easy for your one year. Play ball, chase tail, go to draft in less than a year. Just my guess.
