If Kansas was smart, and I cannot stress this enough, you guys would notice his time is over and pull out.
Remember this over the next 5 years when you watch good coaches land at other programs and Self is on the hot seat.
Self has never been at WKU but yes, it will be a program similar to that in the end.
I remember a Coach who lobbied hard for the Kansas job when Roy left...his wife is a Jayhawk alum, he was grad asst at Kansas, he was coaching at Memphis...I wonder if he is still around?
Sadly, Cal would have then choked all the time, too. It's not a Roy thing or a Self thing. It's a Kansas thing. It's the Kansas Choke DNA that infects every coach and player who goes to Lawrence.
So, take your passive aggressive p-crap and get the hell out of here.
See, this is exactly my point. Don't wait to long with self.
Cal is past the part of his career where he seeked out pretenders to turn them into contenders. Programs like Umass, Memphis, and to a larger extent Kansas are no longer attractive to him. He's not interested in building your program. Time is up.
The longer you retain a coach like Self, the longer your droughts get longer and longer. Self is Tubby Smith with less ethics and a rogue compliance.
Wise up.
Self is exactly where we want him. Jayhawks fans are satisfied he wins the Big 12 every year and we know he isn't a threat to win the NCAA title. So it's a win win for all of us.

Until you realize the Kansas way will result in losses when it matters anyway. It's at that point that you're just sick of his wig.

I don't know what is going on with Robinson but he needs to distance himself from someone. Sad to see a young man making bad decisions like this.
