On the latest coming and going, I'd wager he left school, never officially "un-enrolled" (withdrew) therefore he was still technically a student when he quickly returned.
My, my, my. I'm sure team discipline is strong on this Western Kentucky squad this season.
It's late September and he really should be back at school,there's probably not a rock and roll band that he could lend a helping hand,he might steal his god-father's cue and make a living out of playing pool
Imagine the message that sends. Mitchell gets to leave us over and over again and still technically be on the team and if he decides to play he'll start and play 35 minutes on the days he wants to start and play 35 minutes.
If you're Western, you almost have to cut-bait and not take the APR hit. He was worth the gamble and whatever you had to do to land him, but once it's clear he isn't going to stay with you, you can't let his decisions hurt you with no potential benefit to your program.
If you are WKU, you have to grow a pair and tell him to hit the road. He is playing WKU like a fiddle. Man TF up and tell him to go home. Cut the cord, Rick and...

Stansbury is beginning to look weak. I understand a coach at a school like WKU wanting to bring in a recruit that no-one thought you could land.
But, at some point you have to realize this guy, regardless of talent, is going to: 1) Be terrible in the locker room. 2) Set a precedent for how the team views you as a leader and coach.
Other players will try to pull the same pouty response this year and will use Robinson as an excuse. Let him walk and roll with the team you have.

This shows why UK did not go after this kid. Says a lot about Cal and UK and the kind of kids Cal goes after. So glad we have a coach like Cal.
What's sad is Stansbury seems to have learned nothing from his time at Mississippi State. The whole Renaldo Sydney ordeal essentially derailed his career in Starkville, and now that he's getting another chance, he's doing it all over again.

There were enough red flags to begin with when a Top 10 recruit committed to WKU. Now, with all the "advice" he's received and the multiple times he's decided college isn't the right path, what are the chances he hasn't had contact with someone that would jeopardize his eligibility?

Yeah, not sure where the OP got their info. I've searched a number of sites, including Bowling Green news sites, and I can't find anything where it says he has returned again. Sure like to see the proof this has happened if someone can supply a link to this story.
