Missouri at Kentucky (Game 3)

Kessler has been valuable this weekend. Stepping up when Rubalcaba got hurt.

Respectfully... why do you have a catcher pinch run for a catcher? We have Grace and Lewis, bot of which are faster than Liebert. I get that you'd lose two subs by doing that, but if you want speed, put actual speed out there.

Ritter gets a base hit. Runners on 1st and 2nd. Please Baseball Gods give us a walk-off.

At the risk of showing my modern baseball ignorance, what in the heck is UK doing with their hitters looking to the dugout and then checking flip cards on their belts in between pitches?

Apparently think it's a better way to communicate than the 3d Base coach giving signals. The SEC telecast color guy said it would be a distraction to him.

Winning 2 of 3 is good, do that every week and you'll be a contender. But if you saw any SEC baseball this weekend you saw some serious, serious pitching across the league. With what's on the horizon, not sweeping likely the worst team you'll see is a poor start.

Just a new and believed faster method if communication. They do it for all phases. Pitchers have it. Catchers and even defenders for defensive positioning. So, just a new way to do it rather than the 3rd base coach with indicators and such

It looks a bit silly, but I imagine our dislike of it is just based on newness. If it works as a way to speed up the game without changing anything with it then it's a good thing. Probably much better for fielders as well. Remember the old yell and point to move an outfielder? Lol

Next week against Auburn should be interesting. I think they are very much in play. Take that series and it helps. Took my sons ashes and buried them with his grandma today. He is finally at rest. He was not living only surviving . Drugs are horrible. He was such a great kid .

Or some coach standing on the top step of the dugout waiving a towel.;)

Sorry to hear that friend. I missed most of yesterday's game at the funeral of a cousin, and my biggest sadness about it was for his mother having to bury a second son. He was in his late 40s, but to a parent a child is a child forever. I wish you the best, buddy. Much love, and I hope to actually meet you sometime at a game soon.
