Missouri at Kentucky (Game 3)

A single and a walk to start the 2nd for Lee and he gets a ground out that advances the runner then gets a key strike out with a good pitch on 0-2, then the ground out to second ends the inning.

Quick top of the third for Zack Lee. He even hit a batter on the first pitch. No sense working a long count and plunking them. Interesting that it was Day that he plunked. Day doubled in the first inning.

Ground out, fly out, fly out for the Cats in the bottom of the 3rd. Not many pitches at all for Hise only 9.

10 pitches in the top of the 4th for Lee. Both pitchers seem settled in.

Weak swing at a 3rd strike by Harmon ends a 13 pitch inning for Hise. Both pitchers may be able to go pretty far today.

Should he about the time of the game that hitters have seen starters a few times and start to get more locked into what they're throwing. We will see if that happens or the dual continues.

Lee gives up a two out single stretched to a double and gets pulled. Only 65 pitches.

Nice at bat for Kessler making him throw a lot of pitches and then spanking one. Church gets a Texas leaguer to left center. Nice to get the first two on in the 5th. Coach comes out and they are leaving Hise in.

This is a danger inning for Hise. Runners at 2nd and 3rd with 0 outs. 2-1 count. Scary spot for him.

Darn Estep gets a sac fly to short left center and then Ritter pops up the first pitch to the infield.

Great hit by Schultz, down the line in left for a double to score Church. 3-0.

Good double down the left field line by Schultz which drives out Hise (a bit late) and drives in a run making it 3-0.

Marsh coming in to pitch, I missed the majority of the game but looks like we're headed towards a series sweep.

Marsh in two pitches gives up a homerun to give up the lead in the top of the 8th 4-3

Swanger is an appropriate last name cause he swanged that to the softball field.

I don’t understand the love affair with 22 and 38. They just don’t have it this year

Pretty crazy that we largely believed that when those two were freshmen that they would be the cream of the crop for us and they just never seemed to get any better.

Well Degen happens to be getting pounded. Gonna have that infinite ERA.

I wouldn't be satisfied with getting a series win, I would want a sweep but ole Nicky seems to be satisfied to lose to a shitty Missouri team.
