Miller Moss commits to UL

Big bucks! Good pickup, he will do well there.

We have so many needs we can’t afford to go after top portal guys.

Kentucky needs to find good great players on crappy teams. Marshall QB transferred in from dismal Tulsa and played well for the Herd. He is in the portal now

He’s not bad but not great. He won’t be as good as their QB this year.

What QB are we going to get in portal is the question

These kids are getting good money. What kills us is that any QB with NFL aspirations will not even look this way. Liam Coen is not here anymore.

Agreed. However, my opinion is that we don't attempt to be a place that prepares QBs for the NFL. I think we should run more of an RPO/controlled passing offense that utilizes QB runs judiciously. Hardest scheme to defend, imo. If not, get that info from Brad White as to what is the hardest to defend and implement that one.

There are many, many really good HS QBs who aren't 6'-3" and 220 lbs who are fast, shifty, smart, possess a good arm, etc who won't sniff the NFL. But, they would potentially make a really good college QB (Pavia at Vandy immediately comes to mind but there are hundreds available every year). That's where I believe could prosper.

Yeah the immediate reaction from many is always NIL because it’s easy and absolves coaches but on offense it’s difficult to find players that have options that would bank on something being different from the track record.

Great get.

Brohm is rolling. Always seems to get great production out of his QBs.

Cards are back. No surprise it’s a guy who knows offense leading the charge.

Again, this player lost his starting job mid-season. He's shown promise but took a serious step backwards in '24.

I hope both Boley and Stone Saunders get serious looks and serious development.

Maybe we bring a guy in, but I don’t want us to miss the chance to fully develop a couple of well-respected players who were with us from the beginning.
