Not talking about Agents--talking about Coaches. You have to be bluntly honest about what someone is/what it will take to get where they want to be, and if they don't want to invest in that, pass. You don't have time to coddle people when so many people are available that you can actually coach/develop or will accept the role you envision in your program.

I agree completely but its much the same story for coaches. In today's world there are too many willing to tell people what they want to hear to close a deal.

The current generation already struggles with constructive feedback. Then the kids have an echo chamber of sycophants and its just a huge issue. Oddly that isnt even exclusive to just sports but its today's reality.
