The point to my post was to show that rankings shouldn't really matter at this point. We've seen Skal ranked number 1 for christs sakeHmmmm..... Well Bam was a pretty darn good player. Right? Vanderbilts versatility will be what separates him from the rest. He is absolutely a top 10 guy.

Needed him to play well in college not NBAbut they have articles now that say that Skal is a top 10 draft pick again.
The problem with Skal was he didnt play basketball for a long time. He wasn't comfortable, lost confidence, and had a rough year. But he is doing better again.

I don't think Skal should've ever been a top 10 pick, but maybe I'll believe it when I see it.what i am saying is that he kind of justifies the ranking. His issue was not playing for a long time.
IIRC, JV missed some summer ball due to an injury that dogged him for a while and his ranking dropped. Funny, Harry Giles had two knee surgeries and his ranking never faded.![]()
