Mercy rule in the NCAA tournament

It looks like they don't use the 10 run rule in the NCAA tournament. Indiana State had a 12-1 lead over Illinois after 8, but they are playing the 9th anyway where ISU has tacked on another run in the top of the 9th. Barring a record setting comeback by Illinois, ISU will be our opponent tonight.

Hopefully Indiana state used up all their offense in the Illinois game.

I looked at the box score, and their starting pitcher pitched a complete game, so their bullpen is intact. Not what I want to hear.

Yea, very disappointed in Illinois that they couldn't put up more of a fight against Indiana state to make them use more of their bullpen. This will be a dogfight tonight, hope that Mason is on.
