Best two players in the game are Yessofou and Peterson.
Moreno offensive rebound and scores . I like his game
Kinney has a very smooth game.
Kinney has all tools to be a dominant guard in college (even in year 1)
Extremely fast, shoot well, good decision maker, focus on defense (unlike many high school kids), mentally tough
He could even be pg1 for our team in year 1.
The burger game is basically the NBA All-Star game. It's a showcase where the guards shoot at will, defense is sparse, and teams never really get into the offense (or defense). It's a showcase where the top of the top ranked recruits get the most playing time no matter the score, flow, etc. Post players are there to rebound and cleanup. It is a fun affair, but in no way demonstrates how guys will play in a system among men. Moreno dominating the scrimmage (including a game saving block) and playing well today (after running the gauntlet last week) has me excited for his future as a CAT in the Popefense.

Hot take: Dybanasta a lot closer to being the next Johnathon Kuminga than the next LBJ/Zion/Flagg.
Looking forward to seeing Moreno in blue and white next year. He has loads of potential and will gain muscle and strength over the next few months. Once he gets in Pope’s system, he will be a great addition. Plus, he is a KY kid - go big blue!

Derrick is still a thin guy based on last time I saw him, especially considering what he was like in college. Good guy.
I loved watching him at UK. He was very tall and thin but could absolutely shoot it and get buckets.
I don’t think it is just strength. It is explosion. He isn’t getting pushed around, he just could not guard guys like Bundalo unless they were on the low block. Yes, he got a block of a much smaller dude on the perimeter because he read the guys eyes and knows these guards are going to jack it after crossing half court. He was probably tired from the State Tournament. So, he was likely a little slower than usual. But this isn’t the first time I have seen this same type of issue. He looks to have put on about 20-30 lbs since last summer. Weight can be helpful, but not in every situation. Bundalo was way quicker than him last night and even Reibe looked quicker defensively.
Because he is 12. Some of the stuff he spews is ludicrous. Go root for Cal. He is miserable too.

No idea where Stokes will go but he’s also from KY and in the mix for number 1 overall player. Will he come back home or stay west coast? I haven’t heard anyone speculate on that
