I’m thinking overtime elite players were ineligible for the McDonald’s All American game. That’s probably why no Jasper.

Yeah I believe that is why Rob didn’t make it last year .

What about Acaden? Hell he's ranked way above sone of these guys, 15 spots ahead of one I recognize.
Looks like Acaden and Jasper were just snubbed since Overtime elite guys are eligible .
Acaden is kind of ranked where it would be a toss up on them making the roster . It’s some politics a lot of times with these rosters . We have seen UNC get players in that were ranked pretty low
Last I had read I think we were one of the legit contenders along with Arizona, which is where he’ll probably go honestly, and I think USC maybe
We have seen Duke guys make it who couldn't make the all 14th region team....no disrespect to the 14th region.
ESPN Acaden is 25th, but Mingo made it at 40th.

We need more top end talent. This sucks we don’t have normal representation in this game.
I think you are right. There are a few high ranked players from OT, but none made the McDonalds team. I suppose Johnson will be on the roster of other post season teams.

He is still definitely top 20 talent in this class and I have seen some draft mocks project him to be oad lottery pick
I think Jasper (and maybe Acaden) does not make it because of he (they) does not go to Duke or UNC.

Yeah , the number 3 class just ain’t good enough.
Can’t really say that since we had 3 last year and Reed was ranked anywhere from 23 to 79 .

Jasper makes nike summit while many other on McDonald's roster do not. I think nike summit roster is "harder" than Mcdonald (only has 12 guys compared with 24 in Mcdonald). Still think Jasper is top 15 guy in this class and a potential lotto pick. See a taller version of Rob Dillingham on Jasper Johnson

We have no portal guys coming in yet and that’s part of recruiting so you agree it has to pick up.
SS, do you know where the height listings on the MAA roster come from? I've seen Moreno listed at 7'1", 7'0" & 6'11". But MAA roster lists his height at 6'10".
