He never panned out, didn't have great speed or shiftiness, not a power back. Sucks to lose depth but if we were relying on him for more than 3rd string reps we're in trouble.

Like Drennan last year....how much interest will there be in a UK running back who rarely plays? Of course this could be a situation where the staff told him it is best to move on & make room. Signed Wilcox last class, have 2 good ones coming in 24 class.

Maybe McClain was hurt then because he never carried the ball after the Tenn game and only had 1 carry the 2nd half of the season. But Jefferson got touches in the last 4 games which apparently pissed him off.

I'd say he wants to play but just didn't in the 2nd half and could see the writing on the wall. Without a doubt Ramon Jefferson got those touches for whatever reason. I can understand his frustration if healthy. I wish him luck as a Senior transfer.
