Maybe We Need More of What Actually Works?

1. Maybe let an Aussie kick like an Aussie? We had a Ray Guy winner one time doing that.

2. We have a receiver who has consistently caught the football . . . and Tavion Robinson was targeted maybe once or twice?!?!?

3. Commit to running Ray Davis 25 times a game, and go heavy with Tight Ends to help block . . . then pop some play action to TE’s off fakes to Davis. Also, target Davis 4 or 5 times in some fashion in the passing game. If we do this, we might end up with modest passing numbers . . . we had 120 yards passing, tonight, and 68 against UF. Maybe we need modest passing numbers!!!

4. If I were a player and team leader I would suggest that anyone who commits a personal foul, voluntarily leave the field for at least one play, and speak with Mark Stoops, personally for a moment or two.

5. Design a couple of QB runs a game. Leary isn’t a statue, and isn’t a shabby runner. Mizzou obviously wasn’t spying him, and no one else will.

***I just don't think Berry is really any good, he was rough and goodfellow took over I think we expected the smith kid to be alot better too, do have another pretty solid looking K/P coming in who hits pretty good punts at least in videos

Tayvion struggles to get open against SEC defenses. Go look at his stats from last year and then this year in SEC play. Very very pedestrian number in every game. .

**** I agree. No excuse not to feed the only player who is making plays. It's like Coen is being stubborn trying to make the passing game work when it just doesn't. .

Hard to do when the "team leaders" make the mostistakes ....Zion is the leader at safety. He may be more undisciplined than anyone, deone walker has had some mind blowingly bad penalties, other leaders are in the same boat.

I had a feeling we was saving that for today evidenced by the first Q too bad the rest of the operation was miserable.

T. Robinson has over 100 career catches, most at Va Tech, but has had trouble staying healthy while at UK and is dinged again. I commented elsewhere that I hoped UK would feature him instead of others but keeping him on the field has been an issue. Stoops mentioned in his post-game comments the need to get he and B. Brown healthy during the bye week. ABS looks like a middle school kid going up against SEC DBs, Crowdus is a wasted scholarship. I guess guys like Porter, White and Banks just aren't ready.

The reason we don’t do exactly that is bc we are too worried about showcasing an NFL style offense for recruiting sake and keeping the high stared guys happy so they don’t transfer.

I noticed at the start of the season he was kicking from the pocket. I assumed it was because max Duffy couldn't get a look from an NFL team because they didn't take Aussie kickers due to the rules difference.

Wasn't an issue till lately. Pretty amazing how the emotional distraction is basically contagious with this team

On another note, I think it's another sign the staff recently shifted into a mode where NFL ready elevated over collegiate production. I'm not a fan
