Weakest sauce I’ve ever seen from a group of players. You actually get to play THE BEST team in the country and you opt-out like a bunch of SISSIES.
Wonder if the Florida government are gonna follow through on that dumbass lawsuit now.
How many opt outs did FSU have? Sure Georgia had some too. At full strength FSU could not have competed anyway but they will use their opt outs as an excuse.
Announcing reminds us how proud they are of Fla. St. with all the players with 0 heart!
Worst part announcers were having a FSU slurp fest in 1st quarter. Now crickets. Ga. will put in second string in second half and I bet they still out score them.

They are paid to try and make the game interesting so fans will watch. But once it gets this lopsided, they can't keep credibility if they talk up the team getting killed.
Not defending FSU or the ACC, but they have a true freshman playing his second game and a bunch of players out after they were kept out of the playoffs. And they are playing a team that most thought was the best in the country for the first half of the year.
They should never have been considered for the playoff. Ranking them 5th over UGA was political and purely for faux outrage tv discussions.
This game is a prime example of how the opt out culture is eating away at the pageantry of bowl games. This is the Orange Bowl. No one (save UGA fans) wants to see such a lopsided blowout.

This game is just getting ridiculous. Once again proves how strong the SEC is. Now its going to be up to Alabama to finish proving that everyone else plays pee wee ball.

I said I wasn't defending them, but they are likely better than -40 at the half.
I still think UGA would’ve won this game by double digits if both teams were full strength, but having 23 guys not in the lineup is a major factor…especially considering who those guys were.
Does anyone think it would be a close game if FSU had all their starters, and UGA was missing so many key guys?
I just don’t agree this game shows much of anything regarding the strength or weakness of any conference
I hope Kirby leaves the starters in calls times outs and passes the ball. That bunch is in constant contact with UGA players trying to get them to transfer, have gotten a few too. But it's year round.
But I suspect we will see a lot of the younger guys in 2nd half and lots of dives.
No wonder they want to leave the ACC. The finished first far ahead of 2nd place Louisville who couldn't beat a middling Kentucky team. 42 is the most Georgia has scored in the first half of any game this year.

It's a damn shame UGA isn't n the playoff. They would beat the dog crap out of Washington and I'd pick them against Bama again if they played and Texas.
Georgia's backups are about to add to the embarrassment. So the opt out excuse might go the way of their playoff spot.

Wait until it's expanded...if people think the opt outs are bad now in bowl games not part of CFP, just wait until next year.
Basically if a school does not make the final 12, almost everyone will be sitting, and all the bowl games will be college football's version of the NFLs Pro Bowl. Most of them have become that way anyways.

Most of FSU’s players sitting out are opting out for the NFL draft whereis most of the GA players are ones that went to the transfer portal. Obviously apples to oranges. Georgia was the better team w/o Fl St starting QB regardless but to act like this score proves something is dumb. Shame that FSU had players that were so selfish to rob people of a potentially good game.

If FSU players really thought they belonged in the playoffs, they would have been fired up to play UGA. However, they knew their record was fools gold and didn’t want to face UGA. I hope UGA puts a hundred on them.
