I didn't listen yet but after reflecting yesterday the point you made about Sheppard, Dillingham, and Reeves only playing together I agree is the most egregious of all. You have these 3 guys, your clear best 1-3 (and in my mind the best 1-3 combo in the nation, if they're out there together) and they somehow play a minute and a half together for an entire game. How does that even happen? It would have been like the 2005 Illinois team with Dee Brown, Luther Head, and Deron Williams all on the same team but never on the floor together. Those 3 were nearly always on the floor together save a couple breaks here and there for each guy. It's mind boggling to have that dynamic of a trio and just not play them together at all.

Its not mind boggling if you understand calipari. Hes sticking it to us rednecks.

It really can't be any more obvious. Your core 5 absolutely should be Sheppard, Dillingham, Reeves, Thiero, at the 5 some rotation of Ugo, Z, and Bradshaw. DJ and Edwards sub in and out. It's outrageous to watch us have all these dynamic talented players and rarely play them all together.

You know I don’t really buy into the whole coaches are scared to add input thing but to me it feels like the entire staff is still searching for who should be in. Seems obvious to what seems like 90% of the fans so I don’t get it.

Yeah the scared to peak up thing is exaggerated some, but not entirely. I have some anecdotal stuff from my nephew whose spent time with the assistants in his role that supports Cal doesn't make it easy in games to do that. We've all seen our examples of it too. Let's just say one thing we've neve seen is him huddle up with the other coaches on strategy timeouts separate from the team like some do.
