While I was being somewhat facetious with my comment, I think it's clear he doesn't have the same desire to win that he once did. The results of the past several years have shown that.
I’ve heard what he’s had to say and it’s tepid at best. He’s not calling for Cals ouster. He’s not calling for Barney’s head. This is what radio guys do in major markets. They build movements. Matt is a whiny half assed critique of a bloated overrated coach. You know bbn would revolt if they felt like they had a voice the fact is UK with the trio of Eli. Barney. Cal have created an insulated wall around them and stoops so that no major criticism gets through so there is zero accountability.

Agreed. This is clearly just speculation on my part, but I think to him it was finally validation and a middle finger to everyone who didn't acknowledge him as a coach.
