Maybe I don't have enough context, but Pitino's remarks seem incoherent and make no sense to me.
"Maybe Senior night"Read Pitino's quotes. LOL...

They will give him a send off even thou he is a junior since he will be suspended next year after sanctions are handed down."Maybe Senior night"![]()
I've been screaming this to UL fans that cry over the innocent kids being punished. They're not being wronged by any means they're just getting what they deserved, there are freshman at other schools involved so why act like there's no one on this team involved? I can't stand the UL fans that act as if this team that got the postseason ban is full of innocent kids, but guess what, there's players on this team involved. So it couldn't be any more deserving. Absolutely hate ignorant UL fans who are mad at the pres even though it's not his fault that players on the current team are involved in the scandal. The initial report was former players, CURRENT PLAYERS, and recruits. So yea this team deserves the postseason ban they had received. They're playing with ineligible players so how in the world do they not deserve the postseason ban? Just crazy to me how ignorant UL fans are."He might hurt another body part protecting his previous injury." Dude has the entire offseason to recover from anything that happens to him. He's sitting because they'll have to vacate any games he plays in.
I bet he will be back soon...Louisville has a great physical therapy staff:

Because it would be thumbing their nose at the NCAA, which is the exact opposite of what they are trying to do at this point. And if he was involved, he will likely have to transfer, at which point the NCAA would likely say the games he is missing now will count as his suspension (in addition to sitting out a year during his transfer), whereas if he plays now, he would likely have to sit for several games at his new school in two years. Why not play him? They will have to vacate games anyways, and let's be honest all of their games at this point are pointless anyways.

I heard he's not expected to play in the post season. Some crazy story about his school using hookers to recruit.
Can y'all believe that?
Bwhahahahhhahhahhha!!!!!
Yeah but its not like anyone involved in this case is going to be there next year to pick up the pieces. Pitino, gone. Ramsey, likely gone for all the other issues at the school. The only possible survivor is that cockroach Turtleneck Tommy. It's one thing to play an ineligible player when you are unaware of any violations. However, if Louisville were to play a player they know had accepted extra benefits, this would be an additional violation for Louisville. Doing that while in the midst of an NCAA investigation for the same issue would be a significant aggravating factor that the COI would consider when determining penalties.
By rule, the moment a school becomes aware of a violation they are required to remove the affected player from competition. If they want him to play again, they have to apply to the NCAA for reinstatement. When Pitino suggests he may be back at the end, I suspect that is in reference to the minuscule chance that the NCAA would reinstate him.
