Mashburn Jr.

New Mexico’s having an excellent season at 20-5. Little Mash is a baller.

That team also has former Cat Jemarl Baker. So, yeah, that might make for an intriguing March opponent for UK with the Mash/Baker/Pitino connections.

How does that even happen?!
It’s his 7th year as a CBB player. The NCAA granted him two waiver years plus the Covid bonus year.

Crazy to think he was in the same UK class as guys like SGA and Knox who are now finishing up their 6th NBA season.

How does that even happen?!
Two injury redshirt years and the Covid extra year. Keep in mind, he was also granted a waiver to play immediately at Arizona after transferring from UK. So if he wasn’t granted that waiver, there's a scenario where he could have been going into his final year as a 26 year old.

That would be good, little Pitino is actually a coach Cal can beat.

Fun fact: Jemarl Baker will be 26 this year.
And completely ridiculous he is still allowed to play. He should have 5 degrees by now. The NCAA has turned college sports into Animal House. Just stay in college forever if you can play a sport.

Mashburn Jr. will probably pass his dad in career points in college. Although he's played 1 more year, that's damn impressive!
