2 steps. Not sure why people are saying he took 3 steps. it wasn’t even close to a travel.I saw the same thing. Definitely 3 full steps.
It was at least three steps. It could be argued he took four.2 steps. Not sure why people are saying he took 3 steps. it wasn’t even close to a travel.

If that hip check was a foul, call a foul.He clearly traveled- if that hip check is a foul, there is a foul on every possession
correcto-mundo.......i was screaming at the TVDude took three steps before shooting the “game winner”. None of the game announcers commented on it.

So then you’re saying it was a travel but they let stuff that is equally egregious or worse go all the time?I did not think it was a travel. Happens all the time on dunks
The officiating is by design. They want it to be the NBA. That's why Jimmy Dykes keeps ranting about continuation and how it needs to be adopted by the college game. Also, in recent years, you see players jawing with the refs after every call. Years ago, that wasn't a thing. You're starting to see certain players protected by refs as well. The game is slipping into obscurity. At least for the traditionalists, that is.Dude took three steps before shooting the “game winner”. None of the game announcers commented on it.

There was three. Don’t see how anyone could even argue about it. Maybe the ref was looking for the foul instead or something , only thing I can think of. Big shot and I’m sure they’ll take it. Ha.There’s no gather step in NCAA. With that in mind look where his dribble ends and how many full steps he takes. I count three.
I agree with you bud. I don’t know if it should or shouldn’t be called but someone said he only took two steps and he clearly took three before he shot. Big shot for sure though.Travel is not called near as much in college anymore
You realize how many step back threes are a travel? Happens a few times every game but never called
Euro step, jump stops
I see a handful of moves that are a travel every game and it's never called anymore
Does not change the rules, fouled or walked. It was not a fair ending. Was not rooting for either team. I would like to see refs do their jobs. Look at some of the missed calls in our game, go check the dook game. You will see one way whistle that whole first half IIRC.He was pushed on his hip
If he traveled it was cause he was fouled
The refs swallowed the whistle and let the players decide the outcome
There have been a lot of "NBA" style steps this year in college basketball. It is almost as if the NCAA has loosened the calls to prepare those going to the NBA for the next level.Dude took three steps before shooting the “game winner”. None of the game announcers commented on it.

Whatever, he's wrong.
It was almost 42 steps. Not sure why people are saying he took 3 steps. it wasn’t even close to a travel.
In the Florda game there were a couple like that.I did not think it was a travel. Happens all the time on dunks
