6'10, class of 2018 and arguably the top prospect in all of high school. The next superstar. From Tempe, AZ but a strong UK lean right now. Obviously a long way to go.

Where will Marvin Bagley commit to?

He has that future superstar look. Sign him up. This is the first time i've heard about this kid, but just wondering, why is he considered a uk lean?

Just going off of the current cystal ball projection. 80% UK and 20% Arizona. It is still extremely early and that can all change obviously.

Said it several times before. The kid is an uber talent, and when he comes into college, he's could be a borderline unstoppable force at this level, but I could think of at least 47 other states that I would want this kid to come from, rather than Arizona.

The crystal finger in the wind.

But seriously how could we not like that the early guesses are seeing him come our way? His moves remind me a lot of Nerlens. Just more range and two years to beef up.

I wonder about a reclassification for him. He'll be 18 in March of 2017. Of course, a lot depends on how good of a student he is, but the motivation to move up a year is going to be there, because he's the type of talent that the NBA will take at the earliest opportunity.

I also wonder how/why he got cut from the USA Basketball 16U squad. Seems odd, given Bagley's status as a prospect.

This is 2018 player?

Kind of crazy...looks great. Keep working on the basic and he'll be one amazing player.

Kid is fantastic in the classroom too, apparently. He ran with WACG out of Nashville this summer. Their coach just took the gig at the school I cover.

It really is incredible how good these kids are at such a young age though. I realize there have always been phenoms, but it seems like the year round play against the best of their and similar age groups from around the world has accelerated the process considerably and increased the number of kids like this.

And really, it's a relatively new phenomenon. We're only just starting to see the kids who were plugged into this world as kindergartners grow into college prospects.

The new Kevin Durant? Highlight videos are highlight videos are highlight videos (see Thon Maker), but the things he does in that video look effortless and that is a good sign. A lot of the "next big thing" kids, the "can't miss" kids, have come through UK in since Cal has been here: Wall, Davis, Towns; and hopefully this kid will too. Miller can recruit for sure, but has he landed or developed a phenom yet?
