So two conference champs now won’t face because of the idiocy of the portal being open before the bowls take place.

This stuff will end up putting an end to bowl games outside the playoff.

That sounds good to me. Just expand the playoff to 24 teams like FCS and be done with the glorified exhibition bowl games.

The portal dates are all messed up…the only reason it makes sense is so guys can start the spring semester at their new school. I’m thinking January 2 - 22 might be better. 3 week window after bowls and gives guys the opportunity to move on after bowls and enroll in the Spring.
