Marrow responds to fans trashing Levis

Save it man. The guy cost us big time. He cost UK for the first time we were playing big boy football and he blew it. I have to think someone else can hand to the running backs and playmakers better than him. So shut up.
The special teams coaching cost us that game yesterday. Gave them a 3 point kick by declining the penalty and Miss made the 53 yard fg. That's 3, we missed 2 extra points, that's 2 more, and gave a safety that's 2 more+ 7 points and we lost by 3.

I know Levis fumbled the last possession but the stripes missed the spearing hit which would prolly have won the game for us. Just wasn't our day.

The coach running always getting On social media is over paid for getting mostly 3 stars so if that's the dumbest okey.

Dawg needs to just zip it, and coach his team , last time I checked about 4pm yesterday we had plenty of stuff to work on . .. additionally it just seems whiny as heck and beyond what a coach ought to be putting out there on social media .. for as bad as Will played he should be able to accept to accept some mild criticism . And from what Ive seen its been very mild . Toughen up coach . This is the SEC and we , or at least this season ticket holder and decision maker to drive 7 hours yesterday , spend 2 days away from home , doesnt want to hear whining . This " quit expecting so much " type BS sounds so old and tired , sounds like " same ole Ky bull$hit "
Of course he's gonna defend Levis and the team. He should worry doing his job and not worry about fans saying stuff. Weak look imo.

Not trying to argue but you lost me at ‘according to Kiffin’. Your other points are your opinions and you’re certainly entitled to them but Kiffin is a mentally ill psycho. He lies every time he opens his mouth and he’s a totally worthless human being. UK football will be fine.
Idk if you read kiffins comments that Scangarello made a comment telling ole miss to “bring the blitz” and he said it was great bulletin board material credited it with firing up his defense. I cannot recall an instance under stoops where we were on the giving end of bulletin board material.

I don't think he was talking about fans. More like turtleneck sweater wearing p***y Danny Kannell who was talking shit about him during the game.

Just because the OP says he's talking to fans, doesn't mean he is. Some of you thin skinned losers need to stop being victims looking to be upset.

If THAT is what got Marrow fired up enough to publicly shoot back, it honestly makes him (and by extension Levis to some extent) look incredibly thin skinned. There were no attacks on Will’s character in that tweet, just an assessment that he didn’t play all that well yesterday after we spent the week relishing that he had a front page article on ESPN proclaiming him a future top draft pick. If we say we want to be one of the big boys in football, this comes with that territory. The media will criticize you if you don’t perform to expectations. We’d best get used to it if the program is going where we keep saying it is.

I do not think the Old Miss game was Levis best game but the offensive line this year is not during their job Levis has done a great job since being at UK look at his record.

So, Levis and Marrow should accept criticism...but when Marrow returns fire, certain fans wanna whine. Got it.
Thats a really backwards take .. When you blow a game due to multiple systems failures and your QB who is getting tons of praise heaped on him cant accept MILD criticism then it is the coach and players problem . You can ditch the ball in the end zone and have 2 fumbles in the 4th Q in the red zone and have the issues the team did yesterday and not expect any complaints ? even honest constructive criticism type stuff like was most was ? Coaches dont " fire back at fans " often . Not those with brains and thick skin .

I wish Vince would post less honestly. The internet is always going to say mean things it’s 2022.

Can’t tell if serious.

this guy wants the back up qb already. What are we to do with this?

People Big Cat Fan is not a UK fan. He’s been a troll on this site for years. I don’t know why he hasn’t been banned yet but the mods need to remove him.

On the post the coaches can do what they want but it is what it is. Levis owned it make adjustments and try and continue we can still be in a NY6.

Oh Coen had him on a leash last year too when it came to throwing the ball . If you talking about him running more last year , then I agree that Scan doesn’t want him running as much.
That's the direction I was going. The run game has been a struggle. His feet moved the chains last year, with lots of excitement.

Levis is a warrior, much in the build of Allen. Our fans are notoriously fair weather....sorry BBN it is true. Unless the Cat is from KY we don't collectively have his back.

I hate the above about our fan base. Levis made some big mistakes and I guarantee you no one feels worse about them than him. If he was a KY boy it would be forgiven...truth.

GBB and Go Will Levis...hype is 100% for real.

Why? He is the hype man for the program.
I’m not making it a big deal either way, but tweeting does not help our program. Tweeting is yelling into the void. Getting mad at negativity on the internet is like getting mad at the tides coming in and out. It’s nonsensical.

Most of what I've seen are critiques of his bad play. If that's considered taking shots then what's the point of even being a fan if you get labeled for discussing the negatives of a game? Sure there are a few that take things to the extreme but that will always happen as long as you give everyone a voice on social media.

If I were a coach I would be upset with the players after that sh*t show and not worry about the fans. The fans didn't screw up 3 kicks (4 if you count the kickoff out of bounds). The fans didn't miss blocks. The fans didn't take a safety. The fans didn't fumble the ball twice in the red zone. The fans didn't call a play to early.

We had a chance at a special season (going to be hard for that to happen now) and many are upset that the team did everything imaginable to blow this game. Some did even more than others to contribute to the loss. Should have just gave a reply like "the players played hard but made a lot of mistakes and we are going to clean things up." Coaches need to stops worrying about the fans and worry about the product on the field.
Fans didn't score a point either. You can't bitch about the bad and claim the good. The fans should do nothing but cheer. All of you that think it is fair to get on social media and take shots at your team are idiots. Especially those that go straight to our player's social media accounts. These are kids that are supporting our University. If you can't be better, I'd rather you go be Tennessee fans. Anyone that tweets or whatever it is to our players should be permanently banned in my view. Grow up. These kids are playing a game for the University of Kentucky, which most of you never attended. Quit acting like a bunch of dipshits and support them or go somewhere else.

Without the fans there are no sports. No sports means these players have to get real jobs like the rest of us and likely struggle paycheck to paycheck. Many wouldnt even get into college if not for their athletic ability. There's a symbiotic relationship and neither the fans nor the players would be around without the other.

By the way, I don't use social media and wouldn't know about any of it without it getting posted here. I stay away from recruits and current players but they invite it on themselves by having social media accounts. Maybe the players and coaches should stay away as well and then they don't see "shots being taken". Spend more time worrying about their play on the field and ignore the noise. It wouldn't hurt my feelings if Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and any other social media platform all went under.

One thing that really needs questioned is the kicking team. We win this game if not for that shitty performance by then yesterday
Cost us the game more than any other other aspect . Shows how important ST can be especially when it is generally considered a given .

I thought it was the play calling lol. Whatever.

yes we ultimately left too many points on the field on ST. Levis survives his onslaught if special teams didn’t collapse
1st and goal at the seven...play calling. CRod, CRod, CRod, although I think the motion call was ticky tacky.

I don't understand literally going after someone or @ them on twitter. If you are a FAN you know what I mean.

That being said, whenever players are getting paid now and Will Levis is on every commercial on the radio and TV ads.
People are going to hold him to a higher standard than ever before. That is the nature of the Beast (N.I.L.).

I think Levis is a great QB, people gotta learn that NFL players make mistakes too.

Losing to Ole Miss sucked, we was the better team Saturday.

The first play we called scored. The play calling was fine. Damn that penalty.

Like you, I wanted to see some Crod there as well. But keep in mind we had no timeouts and for whatever reason we struggled to get the plays in all day. I believe the clock was maybe just under a minute. The reason you come out throwing is to essentially give yourself a timeout with a stopped clock so you can call in the next 3 plays if the pass is incomplete. Then you can run the ball on second down or even third as well and still have clock and not have to rush. To get the play in.

Yeah , I have mixed feelings on that . I agree it takes away one of his strengths and an offensive weapon but gosh , considering our backup quarterbacks have gotten practically ZERO game snaps along with our not being to effectively run the ball this year , if he goes down even for a portion of the game we might as well just forfeit.
