Marrow on transfer portal additions

Were do you find any quotes that they both mutually agreed to anything? If Stoops was so on board...why did he say in media we can't have a guy on sideline that isn't going to play under the circumstances given?

Look....I don't really give much thought to Bossman....both parties moved on. But stop with the fans "attacking kids" nonsense when some simply don't agree with all the opting out (or quitting as I'd call it). But I've asked this same question over so many times and I can't get one valid answer

"Would it be OK to quit after UK lost the Georgia game or Miss St games" At that point UK was essentially done with getting to SEC East title and playoff. So are we cool with dudes quitting with 4 games and a bowl left on the schedule?" When is it OK and not OK for kids to quit during a season is my question.
Fair questions.
I can only guess, but now with NIL, I can imagine there may be some written agreements that call for money to be returned if a player opts out.

Oops I meant our starting left tackle.
And has had good things to say/tweet about Marrow and Stoops, complimenting their advice during and after his time on the field.

If anyone wants to be down on a former db, it wouldn’t take too much research to figure out who has badgered the program with negative tweets, after his development and draft selection.

Who?

Some of you care a lot more about him opting out then his teammates do lol.
That’s fine with me. As a fan, when I think of UK legends, the list will be made up of players who fought to the end. Josh Allen, Benny Snell, DK, LBJ, WR1, etc. If he was able, we know Josh Paschal would have been on the field.

I appreciate Joseph and his skill, the wins helped us achieve, but he won’t match those mentioned above as I reflect upon my love of UK football. I would much rather meet those guys who gave it all.

Mike Edwards and UK are on good terms. He stays in touch with Marrow, Stoops and Brad White. The few negative post were triggered by UK taking liberty to say something they probably shouldn't have said, but all sides are good.
Thanks.

I did not know that.

The battle for Vanderbilt offensive tackle transfer Tyler Steen should play out next month as his father, Daris, tells 247Sports that his son is expected to visit Alabama, NC State, LSU, Penn State in March. Trips to UCLA, USC and Kentucky are also possible.

Steen seemed to be a hot commodity when he entered the portal, but then we just did not hear much about him. I guess he probably let teams know that he planned to finish his year at Vandy.

He just finished an internship and is just making visits. He is graduating in May, so was in in no rush. His dad said they would decide next month

An LT with starting experience in the SEC is a hot commodity. UK is far from the only school in need of some starter level tackle help.

Kind of funny, when Steen's name was 1st mentioned some UK fans reacted with 'ew, some scrub from Vandy, that is who we are settling for??'

Dare getting positive reviews from scouts & execs that his season at UK helped rehab his image and a good draft slot should be immensely helpful for UK. If we could do it for him in 1 season we could do it again.

Why in hell is Bama looking at him...and why would he want to go to Bama. They have a Fr and Jr coming back at each spot not to mention their insane depth. Why would Steen even bother chance sitting the bench at Bama vs. just staying at Vandy or walking into an open starting spot at UK.

Because old Wolfman is trying to take recruits away from UK.

This has been Bama and Saban's MO every since he came there.

He will take a recruit even if he doesn't need them or ever intend to play them just to keep a rival team from signing them.

Can't wait for that POS to retire. The league will be better when he leaves.

When Steen became available, I said “perfect.” But, I thought he and/or we moved on. Did not realize he was slow rolling the process to get his degree and internship out of the way. Makes me want him even more.
