Hello again HOB. I'll be following along with Stoops' weekly call-in radio show and sharing all the major talking points for you guys who may not be able to listen to it live. Show starts at 6 ET.

* By this time on Mondays, it's good to "clear your plate and move on," Stoops said. He's been frustrated the past couple of days because he thought they should have played better, but he's ready to move on to Game 2. Still really pleased with the effort and how hard they played. Concentrating on playing with more concentration and attention to detail this week.

* Stoops not elaborating on OL Kenneth Horsey, just says he won't be back this week, and it's not as bad as they feared.

* EKU QB Parker McKinney has really impressed Stoops. Does a really good job directing their offense. Can create things when a play gets "off-schedule."

* Ramon Jefferson did not have a carry in Saturday's game (due to low snaps for UK) but he came up with a huge block on Barion Brown's kickoff return for a TD.

* Leary, like most of the team, will play better next time out. One positive thing you could see is how he was able to keep his eyes downfield and buy time for things to happen when the play got off-schedule. Pocket awareness is really good. Missed a few he would like to have back. Routes weren't good at other times when he could have made a play.

* Caller asked if the new turf has caused any issues at the stadium, seeing 3-4 guys go down with lower-leg issues on Saturday. Stoops does not think so. Maybe takes some time to get used to it, but not an issue.

* Caller asks if we'll see Jamarion Wilcox at RB this week... Explosive guy, should see him soon. Had an injury he was dealing with in camp, set him back a bit. And they have a bunch of talented guys on that depth chart now. "We just didn't get enough plays. Gotta get that fixed. Offense has to convert, defense has to get off the field on third down so some of these guys can get on the field."

* Saw really good chemistry and play from D-Jack and Trevin Wallace at the ILB spots. Both really good leaders on that defense. Wallace was tracked by the GPS tech at almost 22 mph in Saturday's game. "That's moving," Stoops says. Only one other player (probably Brown on the KO return) topped that mark.
