Mark Sears Just Fell Down Again.

Sears fell at practice this morning. SEC got together and will award him 2 free throws before the next game against UK be it this year or next and Sears is gone. He will get to come back to shoot them then tip off.

Sears is one of the top guards in the country, but it stands out with him getting most of the favorable calls when it's close and could go either way. There were several times the other night when calls went his way that were flat out bad calls, just a couple of calls like that can cost teams a loss. When you see the horrible calls, at least two of them on Oweh, it just makes you not have any trust in the officials. One time one of the refs come after Pope, then you know something is not up to snuff with the officials. Pope doesn't ride them like most coaches do, maybe when pope said Kentucky was going to study how they called games, it stuck in their crawl. Some of the same bad calls came in the girl's game at Memorial yesterday, LSU was allowed to play rough and Kentucky was not, that turned the tide and LSU went on to win the game. I really don't think Kentucky has ever gotten the calls at home like most of the other SEC teams do, men or women's teams.
