Yes, the officiating bothered me, but not enough that I think we would have won . We had a bad game plan and zero ability to stop them, and a lot of the second half it felt lucky when we scored. You don’t have to agree with me, but that doesn’t mean you are absolutely correct and I’m absolutely wrong.

I think our bad games plan was we were down three out of our four best guards and played freshmen by necessity .

They won because they have far better players 1-7 or 8 than we do . They start several 5th year seniors according to my pre game radio . I mean we open up with F Travis Perry against All American Mark Sears .. it's not going to end well.

I think what bothers me is it doesn’t seemed to be called evenly on both ends. We fouled a lot during this game. But so did Bama. They hand check, held and screened illegally almost every time down the floor. The missed foul on TP’s 3 then calling the one for Sears on the next play is a 6 point swing. Those things matter. It just amazes me how much better the officiating is OoC than it is inside conference.

If Bama plays “Duke, etc.” in the sweet 16 something has gone terribly wrong for them. Bama is talented enough that getting past the sweet 16 shouldn’t be a problem. However, once they make the elite 8 it’s going to be a toss up and they better bring their A game every night because they are flawed.

Wrightsell (Sr) only played 8 games and Reid’s only played 18 games. They’re still loaded with 4th & 5th year guys and played well enough to be where they are this season.
