Kentucky has 9 current players. Every portal guy signed should be good enough to push the depth chart down. Wonder how the current guys will take each new addition resulting in less playing time? I wouldn’t like it much.

Can't worry about dudes feelings. That's the kind of sh*t Cal was worried about.

Put the best team you possibly can together every year. If guys don't want to compete, I'm sure someone out there will promise them PT.

Noah is already 220 pounds in espn, so he will be 235-240 pounds? And he will play PF?

I can promise you that Noah will not be pushed out of the way for a rebound.

I was just thinking that Pope is not just filling out the end of the bench. Besides Oweh and maybe the highest rated freshman coming in they might feel like they are getting recruited over. Especially if the 1-2 million price tag is thrown around. A few might jump into the portal late.

I mean it can definitely cause drama and chemistry issues. Onlu so many minutes to go around next season. The 9 players we have now aren't winning a damn thing that matters so have to improve the roster IMO.

Think shorter Scott Padgett.

Padgett was 6'9" Noah 6'5". He's closer to a shorter Deron Feldhaus if adds the muscle. I'd take that as well any day.

Hes already in good shape with a strong body but if he trimmed a little fat and added more pure muscle and got to 225 to 230, he'd be a hell of a weapon with more game experience.

But God I wish Noah was even just 2 inches taller. A legit 6'7 and 235lbs of mountain mamba would be badass.

Teams are cleaning house and hitting the portal to find replacements, which is strange but I guess it’s the way of college athletics nowadays if you want to win. Kansas just had three players transfer I guess making room for Self to replace them and other teams doing the same

As an amateur photographer, that pose is meant to emphasize his muscles. The lighting and shadows also add a ton of definition.

He's strong, but looking at him on the court this season, I thought he had a little bit (not a lot, by any means) of baby fat around the torso and waist and could stand to gain a bit of muscle. Not uncommon for kids coming out of high school, and he had definitely already worked on it at UK based on how he looked this year compared to his senior year of high school.

Reed had the same look last year. Check him out now and he's a brick.

I expect with adding 15-20lb of muscle, comes losing 10-15lb (at least 5lb) of body fat. So expect next fall he will look leaner and more defined at 230ish.

I don't care that he left. I could get over that. The fact is, he doesn't doesn't have the body or mind for SEC play. If Noah needs 20lbs of muscle, Z needs about 60lbs. Nothing against Z, but he needs to get out of the SEC if he wants a chance to shine.

People keep saying chill what about all these other teams that are going to swoop in and take all the good players out of the portal? Then what? This is why you strike while the iron is hot? Isn’t there supposed to be a ruling on April 7th all these good portal players probably want to be locked up by then. Here we are again taking the 2nd and 3rd tier portal players if that happens then we are looking once again at sweet 16 as our ceiling! The assignment as Pope knows is to hang banners and we don’t hang sweet 16 banners this isn’t Indiana!

This board says Noah is chubby therefore not so good.
Jokic is clearly chubby and torching heaters during halftime and great (the best?).
Moonpie Butler was BMI challenged and probably our most important player.

I know man I need to calm down. I just can't I'm still pissed about the whole last game performance while watching it live in person. The way this whole portal thing has taken off with all the really good players coming off the market at a high rate. I'll do my best to try and stay calm I just want to see UK succeed at the highest level. It's been 10 years since a final 4 , 10 years since a #1 seed, and 13 years since the boys cut the nets for a National Championship. Even at the age of 45 I stay really vested in my team probably way to much!
