Me? I never said we should keep it illegal.

My point was more towards those who think this drug has zero setbacks, side-effects, etc.

I also think the very pro-weed crowd needs to realize this needs to be treated similarly to alcohol and other drugs when it comes to driving, working, public use etc. I actually think it was in the other legalize thread here that a pro-weed person tried to say if you can't drive and smoke, then that should apply to caffeine because it's also a "drug".

No not you, there’s been several posters talking about people that wake and bake being losers, some guy cutting a marijuana study, etc. it’s just like anything else. Some people abuse it, most are normal

THCa flower is already legal under the 2018 Farm Bill. The difference in marijuana and the legal stuff, aka hemp, is the legal hemp has to have less than 0.3% delta 9. The illegal stuff can have more but usually isn't much more than 1-2%. The decarboxylation process turns the thca to delta 9 in hemp and marijuana, hence the same effects. The stuff you want is legal to purchase online and to be shipped as long as it meets the rules under the 2018 Farm Bill...

Regular user since the mid 90s. Rarely drink alcohol. Fully support legalization for medical and recreational. Currently live in backwards ass Kentucky where it’s always two decades slow.

I have a couple local connects, but usually just head up to Michigan to stock up a few times a year. More bang for the buck. More variety. Better weed. I can get 2 ounces of some shit with a name in Michigan for $120 or I could pay the black market dealer up the road $200 for an ounce of the same homegrown he’s had for the last 9 months.

The legality issue doesn’t stop me. Never has. I just think it’s funny that possessing a certain dried flower is the same as possessing a tomato in most of the country and a serious criminal offense in the shitty part.

If the drunk next door can legally buy his vice (that’s much worse) almost anywhere, I shouldn’t have to drive several states away for mine and risk jail time to do it. It’s a damn plant. Lol.

Yes. This.

I've partaken of weed only twice. Both times, time was expanded, but otherwise it wasn't a big deal to me.
My nightmare would be getting stoned while sitting through a timeshare pitch.

People from all walks of life smoke, and always have.

I've been fortunate in my life to rub elbows with literally every class of person, and I can state unequivocally that I've either seen, been around, or smoked a doob together with everyone from janitors to judges, cooks to CEO's, truck drivers to doctors.

I've witnessed some who would prefer to stay high every waking hour and DGAF about having a life, and I 've been around people who toke practically every evening to relax and who are tremendously successful.

As with anything, moderation is the key.

Agreed.. and this seems to be a problem with.. shall I say.. the impoverished demographic of weed smokers? There is absolutely no regard for their smoking habits. They'll smoke while driving, smoke around kids, smoke/vape in areas and buildings they shouldn't.

There is a large portion of society who took MJ legalization to mean "I'm going to do this any time, any place and for however long
It's gotten so bad while I'm out driving that I have to turn my vents to "recirculate" sometimes. No joke. I don't need or want the inside of my truck smelling like pot. I can't tell you how many parked vehicles I walk by in various parking lots and the smell coming out of there is crazy.

The cities are real bad. Exactly how you describe it. Now of course, MJ has the smell as a factor, so you can pretty much tell who is smoking weed while they drive by. And that's kind of an important distinction because other drugs and substances don't do the same. So it for sure makes it seem like more people are just high all day, when I'm sure there's just as many people driving around drunk that we will just never be able to know.

Also, when the hell did weed get so gross smelling? I'm assuming it's blunt papers because that's the smell I remember.. but burning weed in a bong or bowl always smelt "clean" to me.

idc about legalizing it. In fact I wish they would legalize it completely so people could grow their own. That would fix most of the negatives of legalization like the black market.

What I don't like is how growers are messing with the genome to produce "super weed". Splicing is something botanist types have done for centuries. Making a healthier plant, or mixing strains is one thing, but increasing THC to a crazy level isn't a good plan. It turns something relatively safe into something dangerous.

Please no pot needle comments.

I’ve smoked daily for different parts of my life - 18-21 daily smoker, 22-35 I mostly abstained (maybe once or twice a year), and 35-41 daily.

I drive up to Michigan about 3-4 times per year to buy anything that I want or need. For example I can get an ounce of straight gas from Michigan for 100 bucks as opposed to anything that a neighbor state is offering. Illinois has ridiculous taxes, Ohio’s supply/demand is starting to somewhat get better, Missouri taxes almost as much as Illinois.

If Kentucky is indeed putting laws in place saying that medical users cannot purchase firearms, I’m not going to buy my weed from them. I personally don’t own any guns, but I would like to have the option if I want…I’m probably not going to buy them anyways - it’s just principle.

I think if any state really wanted to help the crime rate we should restrict gun sales to those who drink, not those who smoke weed or use cannabis.

In Ohio if you buy weed you can’t own a firearm

Michigan is probably the best and they have some mitten extract brand that is a favorite of mine. Those oils burn for months and have a great buzz.
