Marcus Lee's ceiling next year

kind of like WCS...still very raw and may not really peak until a couple years into the league...

but very excited for what he could do next year...he brings energy, effort, and a great enthusiasm for playing ball...will be able to block shots and get dunks and easy put backs...a true open court and up tempo athlete...Ulis leading the break with he and skal flying in from either side will be fun...

could really help himself if he developed a post move or two...

really needs to live in the gym this summer and get thousands of shots up a day...if he could develop some sort of little jumper and mid range game, he could be a lottery pick...and we'll need some mid range offense next season...
He is like WCS in another area also in that when he is focused and ready to play he is a difference maker, and when he is not he is just another face in the crowd.

Our talent level? You realize we have the top ranked freshman center (top player overall), the top ranked freshman point guard and a preseason all-american candidate in Ulis on the roster already, right? Some of our fans are crazy spoiled. If we don't have 15 McDonald's All-Americans on the roster we're headed to the NIT.

That's not what he is saying at all. outside of the three you mentioned, who can create their OWN shot?

Answer: No Body!

If this current team is expected to be competitive at all next year, they are going to need more Scorers. You can't rely on players like Lee, Willis, Hawkins, Poythress to go out and get you 10 Points on indiviual sets every night. Ain't going to happen. Those players are going to have to get their players off of hustle plays!

We better get some more scorers before we start trying to shoot more than 50 times/game......

Three scorers is plenty. We might not be dominant, but few teams have even two guys that can get their own shot consistently. Again, I think we've been spoiled by Cal. We can't expect overwhelming talent every year. Cal will have to coach this team up a bit if no other impact players are signed.

Lee and Willis have been in Lexington almost 2 years, and I am wondering if they no what a weight or a weight room looks like.

He's got a long way to go. I like him, but personally have no faith that he'll be able to significantly contribute offensively. Maybe I'll be pleasantly surprised.

He can do some similar things like WCS, but he's not quite as tall or big. He does get off the floor really well, though.

I'm sure he'll be bigger and more improved. He put on some muscle between his first and second season here, so I assume he will add a little more. He won't be build like Julius Randle, but he'll be fine.
