Marcus Lee and Tyler Ulis injury updates

That's good to hear on Ulis. I think his injury affected his shooting against UCLA. A little worrisome on the news on Lee though.

Thus isn't good. Without Lee UK's front court is too thin. May be close tonight and I don't think UK will beat a good ASU team with such a thin frontcourt.

yes,and the officials of the UCLA game should be removed from service for allowing Uncalled Flagrant Fouls and one sided physical play that resulted in injuries to a key player. The new rule changes obviously never made it to the West Coast or were blatantly ignored for UCLA,causes me to believe games are tied to gamblers or rigged.

Has someone found the clip of Lee's injury?

Wow, you started here 2 weeks ago and post something stupid like this? Nobody probably is on to you yet.

Someone is about to get to him.

EKU is shooting the three at 45 percent and they hit over half their shots. They are the fifth best shooting team in the country. I just read that on ESPN.
ASU blew out s good Texas A&M team and are 6-2 with one of those losses being in OT. So yes UK will have a tough time especially without Lee in the lineup.

Here we go...do we have to play Doss for you people not to worry...no wonder this board worries so much.

I don't think Tai W. can get here quick enough. Hope for a pleasant surprise from him if he plays this year.
I dont think we can count on him to provide much this year. I was listening to Tom Leach's show this morning and they were talking about this. The general consensus seems to be that he can provide spot minutes, but won't be ready to play significantly this year.

Yeah, but you implied that the game may be close tonight because of Lee being injured and possibly sitting out, which leaves UK's frontcourt thin. Needless to say, and this shouldn't have to be pointed out, but I fail to see how EKU shooting 45% from three hurts UK's possible thin frontcourt.

Beta male.

I think we could beat Doss. Skal would have to play tough, and Cal would have to let Willis play. And, of course, Willis would need to play significant minutes; but we could win that game.

I've always assumed it was the play where he got the offensive rebound and the stick-back off the Poythress miss. Looked like he was bumped pretty hard.

Or it could've been on a play where the dirigible otherwise known as Tony Parker just posted him up. Hard to say.

A few days ago someone had an image where the UCLA player hit him in the face. Which according to Cal would of been when he got injured. Obviously no foul call or even the willingness to go back and check the monitor.

Get Lee healthy for ASU/OSU/UL...but with a head injury/concussion, we all know that's a volatile thing and everyone reacts differently.

It will force some Humphries action, which IMO, he needs. He's not going to last long if he "can't play against certain lineups."

Ball State
South Carolina State
Longwood U
Thomas Moore
Southern Utah
Western KY
Savannah State

That's really all I have to say about any statistics from EKU basketball.

Talk about beating absolutely no one. We should win this game by about 22 wirh or without Lee. Our guards are going to destroy them. They should not get a lot of good looks, and they ain't shooting 45% tonight. I really think Skal and Murray are going to have great games tonight; with Willis showing well if he plays (I think he will get some time). Briscoe will bully them all night! Like I said before, I just want to see some fun to get these guys back on track.

Lee showed a pic of him on the bus last friday saying he was fine...a week later and he isn't???? Our training staff top notch

it should be concerning "why" Marcus Lee had the bleeding...Does that normally happen when you try to block a shot? Probably not... So from that article, there may be other things going on. I'd say basketball, especially at the collegiate level stresses your body a lot....Hope we get to see him play again soon and firstly hope he is in good health from here on out. We need him in the big games.

Who the hell said Lee wouldn't be playing against Arizona State? He'll probably sit out tonight but I don't see any reason he don't play against ASU. As long as he's felling ok I'd put him out there. And if I'm Marcus I want to be out there. What's the chances you take a hard lick to the head again in basketball? But you got all these sissy ass concussion rules now days. And I'm skeptical any damn way because nobody even seen him get hit.

Glad to hear Ulis is feeling better. Losing Lee was huge but I think we win the UCLA game if Tyler was 100%. Clearly his shot was affected but I also think not being able to fully extend your arm would hurt on defense as well.

Except when UK wins of course, right?

"Tyler hadn’t practiced before the UCLA game," Calipari said. "Yesterday he was really full and shot the ball well. Seems to be back where he was."

Worth pointing out that we played with no Marcus Lee and even more of a watered-down version of Ulis than we thought. Less concerned about dropping a game @UCLA when they were already playing like a Sweet16 team.

Get better soon Lee.

How much credibility in a UK website can we have, that can't even get the stat lines correct for our players. They say Lee is averaging 8.3 & 7.6 in the article, when he is really averaging 7.5 & 6.9.

Looks like Johnny is hitting his stride again.

I really hope lee plays tonight and is ok. Now I gotta ask does anyone else get creeped the hell out when they see blueworldorder74's avatar? No offense dude but whatever the hell that its creepy as hell. It looks like a damn buck toothed puppet.
