One of my best friends runs the SDSU NIL. They did everything possible to keep him but thought he was likely to leave. Relationships and late funds coming in ended up prevailing here.
Or some that spit their tobacco far, and some that spit theirs narrowly missing your feet and completely missing ours. Ours preferably

Well the consensus by many was that if BG and Moreno were both here next year, PLUS Magoon, it would probably have to involve one of those 3 getting solid minutes at the 4 spot.
If we land those other 2 (Yaxel and Alvaro), there are suddenly no minutes to be had at the 4 spot, thus Magoon would need to compete with a returning BG and a McDonalds All-American for minutes at the 5 spot.
Idk, grasping here but I feel like there must be something here beyond SDSU just ponying up.
I mean if we only grab Kam Williams in the end of this week, we are in trouble...
A small bummer but I don't think it's anything to meltdown over. The staff is doing their due diligence.

Our money situation must be really bad compared to other top teams. Pope's offense should attract players not send them running the other direction.
Not the biggest BG fan, but I hope this is partially because he has committed behind closed doors to stay at UK. Would suck if we loose out on Magoon and BG enters the portal.
Magoon had several options other than UK and wanted to go though the process. Ultimately he chose to stay home and get paid. Good for him, bad for us. I do respect the decision he made and am glad he did not go to a competitor.
