So, I'm at the MINI dealer having my car serviced and need to eat lunch now. Thinking something exotic like Chick-Fila unless someone has a better suggestion. TIA!

Havana Rumba's is pretty close.

Dang, forgot all about Havanna Rumba! Think I'll go there to celebrate Airbnb having listings in Cuba for the first time today.

A White Castle is just up the road.

It was a pretty big deal when it opened a while back.

Havana Rumba in Middletown or St. Matthews.

Lonnie's, right next to Trinity High School.

Blaze Pizza is pretty good.

Don't get the Havana hype...never have.

Different Strokes I guess...but its also 15 minutes from the Mini dealer

Dicky's Bar-B-Q is good. It is less than half a mile north of you on Hubbards Lane. Salsarita's is next door if you like Burritos, etc.

You're right...I saw Middletown and didn't even think...haven't been to the other one

Noodle place in Oxmoor mall is good. Yang kee noodle?

Havana rumba is ok. Just never got the love for it either.

The thing with Havana, most of their food is pretty decent, but could understand not getting the hype. However, there are about 5-6 things on the menu that are dynamite. The fish is probably one of the best dishes in the city, the shrimp is excellent.

I know the steak chimichurri is the obvious play, but its not one of the better things on the menu.

-Simpy Thai was the correct answer for lunch. Maybe Oriental House for dim sum (then again, its not the 80s)

I don't get all the love for Lonnie's. Its mostly hamburgers and hotdogs. I haven't tried the Italian beef sandwiches which I guess are the draw. Guess I will have to give it another shot.

K, Thx.

It's a Chicago joint, it's ALL ABOUT the Italian Beef & Sausages.

Whatever a-hole. Gyros are a Chicago tradition too. Lonnie's gyros were not good at all. They pulled the meat out of the freezer and fried it like a hamburger. They should know better.

Gyros are a greek tradition, idiot.

Lonnie's uses Kronos Gyro, just like every other non-Greek place. It's fine.

You need to learn about the places you visit. What do you get at Jeff Ruby's? Pasta Carbonara?

You had the chicken tenders at Porcini yet?

What about the Burger at Impellizzeri's?

Chicago = Beef, Pizza, Dogs, Sausage. Place is authentic...they even have Italco Pizza Puffs.

Learn Food.

So much ignorance and arrogance. Maybe you should have Googled Greektown, Chicago. Its a pretty famous area. Thus Chicago is also known for gyros and Greek food, dumbass. That is the reason that Lonnie's have gyros on their menu. If you think that a frozen Cysco-like gyro patty fried on a grill is OK, then you don't know shit about food. Stick to Shoney's and learn some manners douchebag.

I'm drooling over the thought of a dipped beef sandwich from Lonnie's. Freaking delicious. I will not accept any criticism of Lonnie's NOPE.

Yeah, he's pretty much a simpleton idiot. If you don't see a Gyro Cone rotating, don't order a Gyro. Pretty simple.
