Lunardi drops us to 4 seed with Purdue, Zona and TAMU

Also Q1 vs Q1 are different and Q2 vs Q2 are different.

Are you playing tournament or non tournament teams ?

Are you winning Q1A or Q1B games / losing them ?

Ect ect

The whole quad thing is annoying and it’s just done to try and simplified something that doesn’t need to be.

Going through the actual games by game >>>> looking at someone’s “record” in these games. You remove key information when you start grouping things.

/end rant

What is our record vs. Q1A?

I’m curious. Does anyone have this info?

Injuries kept us as a potential 3 seed with the wins we had. Going forward the committee, barring any other setbacks, will probably seed us according to that while still giving minor credence to the early wins and few big SEC wins we had.

Lose LSU, Mizzou, and the first SECT game and taking the absence of Robinson in to account, UK could be looking at a 6 seed, imo. Injuries have really seemingly derailed what could have been an exciting NCAAT for us.
Chance to still be an exciting tournament for us. We beat UT without Robinson and Carr at about 60%. UT will be a two seed. All about matchups. Neutral court with the right draw, this team can still do some damage! All hope is not lost.

With JR officially out we will not get as much love in the seedlings, and maybe we shouldn’t. I wouldn’t be shocked to see a 5 seed or as low as 8.
Not what anyone hoped for. Not really anything to be pleased about. But before first tip of this season with all new coaches and players I was honestly thinking NIT.
So there that.

I highly doubt we get docked much (if at all) for this.

We beat UT without JR.
We beat UT on the road and Gonzaga without Butler.

We've shown the ability we can still beat good teams despite the injuries.

Our resume cannot be taken away. And that resume will probably give us a better seed than expected if anything.

UTjr. Looking like they may be a #1 seed after that win against Bama. Projected there atm anyways. Florida and Bama still have to play each other so one of those is walking out with an L. Bama still has to play at Auburn, too. Bama has had a brutal schedule down the stretch.
First game or so of tournament time could affect seeds for a lot of teams. Including us. Usually by the the last couple confernce tournament games the committee has their brackets made out

CMP needs to put all the chips on the table next Saturday for that Missouri game. Win that one and we're a 3.
IDK. I think we have to win that one AND at a minimum make it to the SEC quarterfinals. Maybe even upset a top 4 seed there.
The committee will probably downgrade our wins (legitimately so) now that Robinson is known to be OUT. Although I don't expect them to upgrade any losses we had without Carr or Butler.

You are probably right, but this makes no sense to me.

Either injuries count or they don’t.

If we aren’t rewarded for winning with injuries, we shouldn’t be penalized for having a player out.

If we win the next 2 and win 1 in SET tourney, I think we'll be a 3. Go 1-1 and only win 1, a 4. But 1-1 and a few SEC tourney wins, maybe back to a 3. :D

Well yeah, but the other teams around us are losing.
Michigan just got smacked at home by unranked Illinois.
Wisconsin just lost @ Michigan State.
I mean, the best team in the country didn't beat us by as much as Illinois beat Michigan.
If we go 2-0 this week, it's a no brainer to me, we should be a 3.
Set the injuries aside, we lost games, yes, but we also have better wins than anyone we are competing with for a 3 seed and our SOS is higher.

Just get in as a 4 or 5. Win a couple games and then scare the hell out of or beat a 1 seed in the Sweet 16. That would be a really fun watch.

Lots of outstanding Bracketlogists on here.

And, in reality, probably just as good as any of the paid pros.

With our great wins, but injury struggles, there’s just no telling where the hell we will end up…. Can justify anything really…. Total crap shoot for us this year
