OK, I'm reaching here! Both teams should go into the weekend 13-4. LSU was swept at Texas, UK at TT. LSU lost to Cal while UK pitching stunk the place up against BC. Neither team has beaten any team of significance...win the series and we break t25 because it's@ LSU ...y/n/maybe?

I wouldn’t think so. I think, like your batting average, it is easier for it to drop than it is to rise. Our RPI is currently 61st while LSU’s is 38th. Their SOS is 67th while ours is 124th. We are 0-4 against Q1 and Q2 opponents while LSU is 6-4. So, I think that their resume is a lot better than ours at this point.

Maybe so, but I'm not into all that stuff. Like I said, maybe not put us into the t25, but will be a good indicator of where we are.

It is going to be a trial by fire. Alex Box will be rowdy, as usual, and our young team is going to have to grow up quick. They might want to pump crowd noise into KPP all week long to try to duplicate the noise they will experience in front of around 10,000 cajuns. If we can win two down there it will be a good sign for us and will certainly help us to stay out of the SEC cellar.

For whatever reason, UK has always played LSU close. I think UK has actually taken the last 4 out of 5 series against them. Now, I know that the past has nothing on the present but still an interesting tidbit.
