I wonder if Simmons regrets not going to abetter school? I ask this seriously. They have a good roster on paper and Simmons is a phenom. They suck and i wouldn't be surprised if they missed the tournament at this point. I know it is early but Johnny jones really loving up to his rep as a really bad coach.

It just goes to show how much people don't appreciate what Calipari does every year, bringing in these elite recruits and getting them to play unselfish basketball.

People say it's an easy thing to do and that Calipari should be able to win a title every season with great talent, but ask Johnny Jones about it. Or better yet, ask LSU fans.

I was at the game last night and it was clear that Simmons was off his game. I would say if anything, Simmons plays too unselfishly. When his team went down big, he needed to take over the game, which it was clear he could do, but he kept differing to his teammates. Overall, LSU looked very pedestrian to me.

Good news for LSU is the rest of the OOC is a joke (on paper lol as COFC took a big #2 on that paper last night), so they should be with just the 3 losses going into SEC play. Check that, they have OU in January...but it is at home. They beat UK and OU in Baton Rouge and some of these sins will be forgiven IMO, as long as they do not lose to the crap SEC teams again this year.

lol it aint Johnny Jones that's killing LSU. That belongs to Antonio Blakeney. The guy is 4-26 in the last two games @@. 3-21 from 3 in the last 3 games @@ . A coach can't control the ball going in the hole. Blakeney is the main problem. He is STRUGGLING with his shot away from LSU's comfy home court. Typical freshman shooting struggles but with a lot of pressure on him on the raod he cant hit.

Maybe Katina can give him a pep talk.

Lsu is a joke. Ben Simmons is really really good and seems like a good guy but couldn't be happier to see Johnny Jones get exposed as the fraud he his. Simmons will still go number 1.
