LSU getting pounded by 39-17 at the half

LSU is already setting it up to where they'll probably need to win the SECT to get a bid now. Unless they go like 14-4 in the SEC, which I don't see. They're more like an 11-7 team. Squarely on the bubble and losses like this will look BAD on Selection Sunday.

Congrats to LSU having the best player in college to have 3 - 3...

ROFLMAO.

Tried to copy UK too much and it's backfiring.

haha Ben Simmons has played

40 mpg in each of the 3 losses. ROFLMAO.

Johnny is like Simmons save my job pleaseeeee

They are missing 2 starters....but still, how do you lose to that team?

Johnny Jones is so bad, so bad

Jones is a horrible coach. Billy Clyde runs laps around him

I live in Louisiana and am thrilled that Jones sucks - but Gillespie?? Maybe a stretch!! LOL

johnny. jones.
This.

It just goes to show how much people don't appreciate what Calipari does every year, bringing in these elite recruits and getting them to play unselfish basketball.

People say it's an easy thing to do and that Calipari should be able to win a title every season with great talent, but ask Johnny Jones about it. Or better yet, ask LSU fans.

Can you imagine what Simmons would have done with this group of Cats?

I guess I just need to be glad he isn't at Duke or Kansas or UNC where he could have hand-delivered the title to them.

If Johnny isn't careful they may ship him out with Les Miles..amazing the difference in expectations between football and basketball down in Baton Rouge just the opposite in Lexington, Ky.

Les Miles didn't get fired. I wonder if it is just a stay of execution though until next year.

I know LSU doesn't have Keith Hornsby and Craig Victor, but that's no excuse to get your doors blown off by College of Charleston. Johnny Jones has some explaining to do!

lol it aint Johnny Jones that's killing LSU. That belongs to Antonio Blakeney. The guy is 4-26 in the last two games @@. 3-21 from 3 in the last 3 games @@ . A coach can't control the ball going in the hole. Blakeney is the main problem. He is STRUGGLING with his shot away from LSU's comfy home court. Typical freshman shooting struggles but with a lot of pressure on him on the raod he cant hit.

Will probably change my mind when we play LSU but I feel bad for the kid.Put him with this bunch and we could see a real show just about every night.

They have the #1 recruiting class for next year, I think that played a big part in allowing Miles to remain for now.
I doubt its because of the recruiting class. LSU....like most other SEC programs....is always going to have a stellar recruiting class.

UGA's is way up there with the #1 QB in the nation coming in and you see what they did with Mark Richt.....who I would take at UK in a heartbeat BTW. Same with Les Miles if LSU had fired him.

I'm pretty sure Ole Miss has the #1 QB coming in. And who's to say he won't decommit to follow him elsewhere? That's the risk you take.

Simmons, Quarterman and Blakeney go eight for thirty nine and that certainly doesn't help.

Other than surly being a Kansas lean at one time did Simmons really consider anybody else but LSU ? What a waste of talent playing for a coach that bad ! But hey Coach Jones and Coach Crean need big raises and contract extensions if you ask me !!!

As in College of Charleston?
I live only 15 minutes from CoC
i use to live in west ashley. c of c is usually pretty good at bball. i use to attend kresse's camps. they've had good teams, and usually do well in their conference. i haven't followed them since cremmins took over but having followed them historically i'm not surprised at all that they beat an sec team. they're like the dayton of that region. just not quite as good.
