Louisville vs. Florida State (ESPN)

Well they put 10 in the box constantly on defense leaving back end exposed
They got some weapons but Cunningham struggles with accuracy especially late in games

It won't be long until you see some of UL's best recruits jump ship. Other schools have loads of NIL cash too. More fun to showcase your skills in a winning program.

I didn't know FSU was still this bad. They used to be like UT and Miami but now all 3 are nobody's. Like ul doesn't have a qb once a qb can return to college and start there is no qb. Yet ul got lots of yards. The acc weak. I mean louisville almost had 300 yards just in the first half. FSU has to be the weakest 3-0 team I've seen. The old Florida State teams would have won by 20 on the road tonight. IMO college football misses Nebraska, Tennessee, the Miami and fsu of the worlds.

Cunningham is AR15 2.0, isn't he? Good athlete, not a great passer. Keep him in the pocket, put a little pressure on him and he won't hurt you very much. Our DL should handle the LOS and bottle up their running game. We should win convincingly if we play pretty decent.
He’s AR 1.0. Remember how scared he looked last year. He was the first. The first of many scared QBs.

Ventured over to the Louisville board and it’s amazing how fast they aren’t a Football school anymore. They are all waiting on basketball again.
Honestly it's more sad to see FSU fans on the main board excited over a win against Louisville.

I don't really even look at ACC teams against the SEC as real tests of the SEC anymore. At this point the Big 10 is the SEC's only real competition.

UL defense is still garbage, skinny and slow. Cunningham had better enjoy this season. No way does he ever play on Sunday.

No, not many schools at all have a national sports apparel company funding their recruiting class

Does winning matter to HS kids? Having great facilities to work in? Being prepared for the NFL? Or is cold hard cash in hand, right now, the most important thing to young men in 2022?

Guess we will find out on signing days

Other than Clemson, you're right. If Clemson would change QB's they could be a threat to win it all because their D is legit.

UL fans STILL think they're better than us football. How many times are we going have kick their sorry ass into the dirt until they're convinced otherwise, or are they just that stupid.

Keep Malik in the pocket and he crumbles. He's Lamar 2.0, but with a weaker arm.

I'm so excited to see him QB draw vs UK linebackers. 😆😆

I don’t see UL getting to 6 wins. They are going to have to start winning against ranked teams now to get past 5.

UL plays some random ranked ACC team (😆) and then ends their season against three ranked opponents, including us.

Going to be hard to get to six wins. Lol

UL will be at a crossroads ant the end of the year. The same crossroads that Uk was at under stoops. Don’t forget how badly our fanbase wanted to fire stoops when he wasn’t turning it around fast enough. It will be interesting to see how much patience the UL AD is willing to have. In our case, it was the right move to eat the lean years and give stoops time.

IMO UL should stick with Sat provided he can keep next years recruiting class intact. Like it or not, he’s got some good kids coming if they hold.

That’s very possible but your staffs best recruiting class was after having a losing season.

I don't think it is an either or proposition. You can win AND make NIL money. Winning is more fun. As for great facilities, most P5 schools have them thanks to huge TV contracts.

I forgot all about that game but makes my day to see that UL lost ! I hope they self destruct as the season continues.

If you are referring to the Covid shortened season where we played an all SEC schedule, that isn't comparable to UL's current situation. We also won a bowl game that year and had two good seasons before. Your program is heading in the wrong direction and has little other than NIL to offer. Maybe the next coach will change that.

Cunningham will never last the season. He a very shifty runner but as the season progresses he will have to run more and that will be his downfall. He wants to run on every play and eventually some LB will have a free shot and he will get hurt.

We have some talent (more than our record shows) but our play calling is very vanilla. Our defense can be decent but for some reason our coaches are afraid to bring pressure.
i have said for 3 years now that ul does not have very much P5 talent (reminds me of the joker era)
as far as this next class i think with the money (legally this time) Adidas is spending on that class, i think it will stay together

until any school gets enough talent to redshirt good talent then they will not be able to consistently compete with the big boys and most years will be in the bottom half of any decent conference
